Mr man you are not a Yoruba man. If this happens in the east no one will hear from it talk less of cough about it. OmoAle nie

ote author=Acidosis post=121761353]The damage APC has done to the mind of the average Yoruba man/woman in the last year would take decades to undo. This is SPELL at work. These guys are under some powerful influence that is beyond human comprehension. They're stopping at nothing in disenfranchising even their own parents and children for the sake of Tinubu's dynasty.

Ask yourself, is Jandor not a Yoruba man? What about Funke Akindele? Is GRV not an indigene? Same script they used years ago against Jimi Agbaje and Obanikoro. It failed on Funsho Williams so they had to kill him.

The best thing you can do for yourself and family right now is to dissociate yourself from any Yoruba man or woman that shamelessly supports the duo of BAT/APC on the basis of hate for another tribe. Believe me when I say that if you do this, your level of advancement and mental alertness will increase by at least 20%.

Make no mistake, I am a full-blooded Yoruba man and I feel nothing but disgust when I meet such people.[/quote]

The fact that you even thought about it is wild.

In this same country that you’re required by law at penalty of fines or even more severe consequences to make sure there’s no provable instances of bias in your selection and deselection process, you want us to give you accolades for not letting tribalism influence your decisions?

Dude please 🙄🙄

Nah! it doesn't work that way. Some things are left with prerogative, if the HR contacted me, that they are going to remove an officer and it has to be one of the 3 Nigerians, is that not a bias already? I have other nationalities as well, why Nigerians? Of cos, i did my best underground trying to protect everyone. Whichever way, if i had left the decision for them to take, it will definitely be him of certainty, the reason been that, when the tides were rough during the covid period, he left, and the manner he left was not professional. The guy removed is someone i personally developed, he endured a period of delayed salaries due to covid. When things came back to normal, the Igbo guy came back, i didn't consider how badly he acted. The fact that i have 3 Nigerians, most of any nationality with me, indicates i am biased. However, though raised a few times, there is no proof of it. I will explain how it works, even if i bring my brother on board to work with me, the final license approval for practice will still be issued by the government after another set of verification and interview is conducted. All i need do is prepare them as my own, so they can scale the hurdle.

Categorically, i have helped a lot of people from zero level to something, and that cut across all nationalities, but to work directly with me, i prefer Nigerians, not because they are the easiest to deal with, as they are the most difficult. I, however, consider where we all came from, and the possibility of giving my brothers an opportunity to thrive. I am in the position not by might, it's purely grace, so, i didn't think of it. What i thought of was, if he was the one chosen to be sacked, my reason will be because he was not patient when the tide was rough and left rudely (as anyone can imagine). He made amends after few months that he left, but the company he moved to hit the bottom rock and couldn't revive itself, when he came calling, i had to help, it took a while, 3 - 4 months. But, he would have politicized it, using the election as an excuse or tribalise the whole thing if he was chosen. Was i fair to the guy i helped bring up? No. Some decisions taken in a top position sometimes difficult, some without answers, or reasons, and sometimes you feel you are the best, but then still get sacked when the management takes decision. No decision is fair to the victim.

Actually you were not fair to the guy you helped bring up, good you admit it. Wait You helped removed a person who stood and endured with the company during hard covid times for someone who just left like that simply because you didn't want him to politicize the whole thing and claim it is because he's Igbo?

You knew who the company would pick and remove if HR made that choice, you knew who should go, you knew who was loyal to the organization and then you made the wrong choice so as not to hurt his feelings or massage his tribal ego?

I don't see the differencee between what you did and giving someone from your tribe a promotion even though the most competent are from other tribes.

Bros I fear you.

This is my question too.

I’ve never really gave the Biafra thing a thought. Was going about my life loving and seeing Nigeria as one. No second thoughts whatsoever until I came to NL and saw how anonymity allowed people express their true feelings. And then I wonder why they don’t support the demand of the IPOB group. If you hate them so much, why not support them to leave? I’ll never get it

It's terrifying. Slowly, I believe, more people are beginning to understand the sense in Biafra. The process towards Biafra may have been flawed and extremely provocative in the past few years but I hope their leaders can make things right. If we are being sincere, no one can endure this level of hate in their own country without going ballistic at some point.

Its a test of faith just like during time of Elijah..Put your God at work..
Hebrews 11:

33 Who through faith subdued kingdoms, wrought righteousness, obtained promises, stopped the mouths of lions.

34 Quenched the violence of fire, escaped the edge of the sword, out of weakness were made strong, waxed valiant in fight, turned to flight the armies of the aliens.

Nigerian Army should be on all roads through out to protect citizens. The Oro has no rite to restrict people's movement. From Friday till Monday election issues will be on, party agents, INEC and INEC Adhoc staff as well as domestic and foreign observers will be everywhere performing their responsibilities and the police and Army should be everywhere to protect Nigerians. Oro is not greater than the Federal Government. Im sure this election will determine the strogest might between the Nigerian government and Oro festival.
Nowhere is festival done to restrict people's movement. The last time i heard it was in old Benin Kingdom during one of its festival where the British consuls were told neither to enter Benin nor stay around because visitors were not needed during the festival.
You know the final story. Benin Kingdom has gone modernise and is one of the best kingdoms in the world.
The responsibility is on the Nigerian Army, Nigerian Navy, Nigerian Airforce, Civil Defence, SSS etc to protect citizens from this political threat emanating from greedy politicians.
Shiites tried to do same in Kaduna but has been resisted by the governement.
This must not be allowed. The security agencies should flog and deal with any body be it human and spirit who comes out to threathens citizens right of freedom.

Did they get permission from the police to go public on this issue?
Is like we are having two governmnet now. Soon these people will usurp the power of the government.
The federal government should act now and stop this nonsense.
