It's natural to be skeptical. Very natural. Every new idea comes with skepticism and criticism. My grand dad told me how they demonstrated against going for NYSC when it firstly implemented in 1973. There is hope with the student loan bill. It's a positive way forward.

I have seen foolishness and this is the height. If the condition states that both parents should make less than N500,000 annually, how many people will ever qualify for this? An average home where both parents are civil servants, they sure will make more than N40k monthly and this disqualifies such a person.

When it comes to loan, you grant them access to loan and they'd be chanting "Thank you Mr president, Thank you Mr president." But when they receive the loan finally, they start to feel like abscond. They never want to pay back.

Until the source of loan gets depleted and they return to hardship.
