Kwakwanso of a guy is full of pride.

He should have teamed up with Peter Obi or show some sportsmanship after the election but he feels he owns Kano state

Yes, by the PO and it should have been stamped as well.

Yes, substantial non-compliance!

Section 63(2) gives a condition or an exception

The unfortunate thing is even if they all come together for 2027 probably, with Tinubu in power, election can never count again.

Kwankwaso lesson.. tree don’t make forest.

Even druggie bought enough trees to look like forest.. and never seek to fight… even after he got there .

Kwankwaso allowed pride ..

Kano is gone ..

NNPP problem is not that of Kwankwaso anymore. May be you have forgotten that NNPP has suspended/expelled him.

Am just looking at their options and loopholes....same might happen in ogun where pdp alleged that 32,000 apc votes were invalid.
Plateau too will likely go

Wow. I find that ridiculous. What's now the point of accrediting courts if their votes can be voided by a PO refusing or forgetting to sign and stamp the ballot paper? How many voters are aware of this by the way and is there any punishment for a PO who fails to sign ballot papers in his PU?

NNPP raised objection with 63(2) but the tribunal objected.

If he forgets, the agents should remind him.

Yes.

Ballot papers must be stamped, dated, and signed by the INEC Presiding Officer on the day of election before it's issued to voters.

If it's not stamped, signed and dated, it's invalid. It means INEC Presiding Officer doesn't know about the ballot papers.

You should ask yourself why all the 165,663 ballot papers (votes) were for NNPP?

NNPP rigged the election and I commend the courage of the judges inspite of the threats.

This is how to prove non compliance and not like the lazy lawyers of Obi and Atiku.
Yeah. I'm sure only APC's lawyers are smart enough to know the law and how to apply it while others are simply dummies.
Come to think of it. How come it's only APC that's usually the beneficiary of cancelled votes and over-voting and they are never caught on the wrong side of it. I'm yet to see any APC candidate especially gov who was booted out of office for rigging votes or ballot box stuffing like this case. APC even had someone who came fourth jump to first on account of valid votes not counted which were rejected by INEC.
It's either APC are so meticulous in their preparations or they've learned to game the system. I mean, consider the probability of finding 166k votes in an election of almost 2m votes in 14 days if you're not already sure of its existence. I mean how many hands you'll need to sort through ballot papers in that time frame between announcement of results and approaching the courts.
In any case, I still wonder if the votes cast does not exceed accredited votes, why you'll invalidate votes just because an adhoc staff did not sign. It smirks of mischief if you ask me and makes a joke of BVAS but what do I know about making laws.

Agents? Do agents have access to ballot papers while voting is going on?
I think our electoral system is beginning to rely to heavily on those I'll refer to as passers-by
PO is an adhoc staff but his signature is critical
Polling agent is also an adhoc staff but he's expected to attest to proper conduct of elections.
In this same country??

Only stamped, dated ballot papers signed by the PO are counted as valid.

It's in the Electoral Act, yet I feel the tribunal's judgement was perverse, as a re-run should have been decided because the error is not from the Candidate. Again, how do we even tell if the 160k ballot papers were only from the NNPP Candidate.

We will await the judgement though.

Apc simply counted and isolated nnpp votes na to detect any error...there should be a rerun in few units sha.was it an unanimous judgment

I understand it's in the electoral act but I wonder the wisdom in that. The fact is it's a weakness that can be exploited by either side or even oversight on the side of the PO.
Again i ask what the possibility is for APC to find 166k void ballot papers due to non- signing on inspection of they are not sure of finding such initially. I might be wrong though but I smell a rat.
Besides, what's the point of accreditation if votes can still be voided due to some error not from the voter

Ballots are supposed to be signed at rac centres by spo or Po before going to polling units.any unsigned or unstamped paper simply means it is not from inec and a product of illegality

This has been exploited by many times just that this panel had their reasons.

In Ekiti & Osun, we had many of same.

They also in their preliminary objections said membership is the domestic affair of a Party and cited the PEPT case.

Still went into the merit of the petition and said he is not a lawful Candidate.

I don't understand!
