It is advisable to present a comprehensive overview of your financial capacity by demonstrating funding for both living expenses and tuition fees over a two-year period. However, if you opt to showcase funding for only one year, it is crucial to provide a clear explanation of your strategy to cover the expenses for the second year. It's important to note that stating reliance on a part-time job during studies could raise concerns and be viewed as a potential red flag. Instead, focus on alternative, more stable sources of funding to ensure a more robust and reliable financial plan. seawealth: 1 Like |

The GCMS note indicates that the visa officer found the evidence regarding your relationship with your cousin insufficient or unconvincing. It is crucial to address this concern by providing additional compelling evidence. Ensure that your documentation is clear, organized, and provides a comprehensive picture of your ties to your cousin and your intent to abide by the terms of the visa. If you have any further supporting documentation on hand, such as photos, communication records, previous support from him, or any other relevant evidence that can help establish the authenticity of your relationship with your cousin. An alternative and effective approach could be to consider a co-sponsor. By introducing a co-sponsor with a strong financial standing, you can address the concerns raised by the visa officer and present a more robust case for your visa application. You should be the co-sponsor Remember, transparency and thorough documentation are key to a successful visa application. Daveconsult007: |

Popson09: If you're concerned about using the lump sum deposit from your late dad's company as proof of funds (POF), it might be a good idea to transfer the money in smaller amounts to your other account. This way, it won't be perceived as a single large deposit, which could potentially raise questions or cause issues. By spreading out the transfers, it can appear more natural and in line with regular financial transactions. In addition to transferring the money in smaller amounts, it would be beneficial to include legal documents from your lawyer stating that you are the next of kin of your late father. These documents can help support your case and demonstrate your vital responsibility back home. Including such documentation in your Letter of Explanation (LOE) for your reapplication can provide clarity and strengthen your application. Good luck with your application, and if you need further assistance, feel free to ask here!📝🏢 It will end in praise 1 Like |

Immacbaby: Yes, egyptair will send her back to lagos from Cairo, if she's booking later than 3weeks to her resumption date. That's the immigration law in Cairo regarding student travel. For example: for January 8th resumption, your egyptair ticket must not be later than 17th December, 2023. I got this info from their office in V/I, I wanted to book 27th December, but they advised I book 17th instead. As from the 18th Dec, it is considered that you're flying at a date too close to your resumption, and apparently it's a big deal for Cairo's immigration officers. I also heard they'll look at your documents too at Cairo; tuition payment, admission letter etc 1 Like |
