It's good to know someone's past, but I don't think knowing specific details is of benefit to either a man or woman. A person's past can't be erased. Surely, some have done some things in the past of which he or she may not be proud or even regret. I've asked guys how many girls they've slept with out of foolish curiosity, but I've never held the number of sexual partners against someone and never will. I'm more interested in what happened in those relationships, how it affected them, and whether or not those affects changed that person for the better. 2 Likes |

Just like Ogugua said, asking specific details of intimate partners is of no importance even though I asked my bf and exs, I honestly don't even see the use of such question since I did nothing with the information. Its best to ask how the past relationships affected the person negatively or otherwise. |

I'd luv to know everything includin d no of guys she has dated n slept wit & any dirty thing she has done in d past. Reason is cos,I wont want anyone tryn to blackmail her later in future. I'd also need to have all info so I can defend her if someone later tries to use her past against her. My recent ex had dated 24 peeps before me but it didnt stop me from luvin her n wantin to marry her. I chose to see the good in her rather than duel on her past. I dnt kip secrets n dnt like my lady kipin secrets around me. It makes me suspicious abt a person,being dat I'm a very open minded n free spirited person. But if dating/marrying such ladies is what makes a man real, then I'll love be unreal for the rest of my life. We came from different families and background with different beliefs so I wouldn't want to condemn her further. Haba! The truth is, the girl never loved any of those guys she dated.. Well i just believe that nobody has the right to force somebody to tell them about their past. I feel that on meeting a person you should first be interested in the persons present, future and get to know the person better before you start digging into the past. Some people just meet a person and want to know all about the person's past then they use the past to judge the present and the future. Ain't that horrible?  |
