hi, am so happy to join the ladies in this forum. have been married since 2009 and not prego due to male factor(anejaculation , low libido (about once monthly sex)and low low sperm count).have had it rough but looking unto God.just started on my first and only ivf cycle by the grace of God. On day 6 of my circle and day 4 of my treatment. started on self injections on thursday. to see the doctor on monday.am using TRUCARE fertility center in vi and i believe God will glorify himself thru them. congrats to all PREGOS and new MOMMAS in the house. best of luck , God mercy and favor to all of us TTC . and to all with successful ivf story pls kindly share ur tips.

Have been a silent reader here in this forum and would be stating my ivf procedure in march due to the fact that we having male factor.hubbys sperm count was less than 15million as the doctor advise us to do ivf .and we using doctor emeka .so worried .would not mind if any one could enlighting on how to manage my self to increase the chances. @angelic25 and nogen, make sure u start taking prenatal vitamins now, eat healthy, avoid too much spices, avoid potash and lime. eat more of pineapple and wallnuts. After ur et make sure u take good rest, relax and above all PRAY.

Hi I've not been able to post for a while the Twins are more than a handfull though whenever am chanced I read through the post and pray for members of this forum going through d IVF process. UBTH doesn't carry out TESE they don't even do ICIS sef went there first cos DH had oligospermia they asked us to use a donor theirs is purely IVF n IUI.@ angelic25 n nogen the best thing to do is to pray and afer that trust n believe God had done it don't entertain
Fear in ur mind also rest don't do anything too stressful and also avoid spicy food

@Tontolo, a family friend of ours got pregnant with Quads there. She said they are very good and affordable too cos they are about the only clinic that transfers blasts aside of bridge and u know 5 days embies have better chances of implanting than the conventional 3 days done by most centers in Naija.

Nope, he doesn't transfer 5 days embies. Its only Bridge and recently I was told truecare. Maybe others have joined.

That's sad. Wish he does that too. I might check out the TrueCare Clinic too. 5 day transfer tend to be more successful than 3 days. A friend did a 3 day at Bridge but wasn't successful, but when she went back for her frozen embies, they did a 5 day for her. Shes's presently preggies with triplets.

I have really seen that persistence helps, i never wanted to give up even after the 4th procedure. God is faithful. @safe06 yea it is fertilaid, check through my posts n get any info u need. They always get to blastocyst except wen d embies r not many.

Yea Dr. Shaibu is one of d few doctors i have met, he is so down to earth n considerate, we didnt do d first two procedures wit him. when we eventually went there he was so nice wit us dat we had to stick to him, in our 2nd procedure wit him he gave us more than 40% discount, this last one he gave us about dat. I know God will continue to bless him.

Hmmm,now to my story.(Pls,my story is just to encourage someone,don't give up,don't let worry or what people may say or are saying deter you,the Lord will meet all our needs(physical,emotional and financial)
I've been an on and off member on this thread and God has blessed me a lot here. We had male fertility issues(married for four years + now).Last june,we started our first ivf/icsi(with a fluid count of less than a million).August-negative pregnancy test.
To say I was broken and shattered is to put it mildly. Thank God for wonderful people-my DH,blendy and my wonderful doctor(I'll say he's more than a doc,he's a friend).
We decided to allow me heal emotionally and physically before trying again early 2013. In all this,my DH continued with wellman conception,an improved diet(more of veggies and fruits) and we held on to the word of God(that the lord should quicken our mortal bodies and make my husband fluid cells be in sync with his word,I likened my husband's fluid cells as arrows,told God that the ones that will give us godly healthy children should not miss target). Early dec,we decided to see a urologist in the teaching hospital of the town we live in,but the man's programme never fitted with ours, so we postponed to 2013(all we were trying to do was trying to build up more healthy fluid cells before the next ICSI). During this time, the wellman finished,we met a pharmacist(an elderly man) who recommended a new supplement(Reproaid) to us(I was skeptical cos we used one early last year that dropped the count,but my DH said we should go ahead). We kept on praying that God should crown the year with goodness for us,but pregnancy no happen. In all these,I NEVER stopped praising God.

January 2013-I made up my mind I was not going to let TTC weigh me down again(worry did more harm than good to my body),I decided I will take one day at a time,serve God more,be a blessing to more people and do what I love doing-shopping...lol). I stopped reading negative stories about our condition. Thank God for patient DH,TTC really affected my s. e. x drive,I found it difficult to even psyche myself for the thing sef,it became more of duty,but I was always appealing to him to understand. I can count the number of times we do the thing sef!I remembered taking a lot of pineapple core and home made juice like a week before HPT(I learnt that here,and it so happened that I had quite some at home,so I decided not to let it waste) But when the Lord turned the captivity of zion around.....hmm...haaaaa!!!!!!!
The day my period was due,I dunno what pushed me to HPT that evening(though I promised myself not to touch any test strip again o) cos I had no symptom,only for me to see two lines! I took another one and two bold lines again. Goose pimples covered me. I praised, I danced...I was confused. I called my hubby who was still at work,rushed to the hospital for serum test and it was confirmed. We're pregnant.

Double Bee, am glad u finally shared your story here for all to read and be encouraged. My Dear, your joy, testimony, triplets shall be permanent in Jesus name. I can remember how u were inconsolable when ur ivf failed. I felt it to my bones. But see this God, this God is just too much. My Sister, I wish u a stress free 9m. We thank God for this blessing. See testimonies just 2months into the new year. Waoooh, Father thank you for removing one more sister from your waiting room. We believe more testimonies are coming because we won't celebrate alone.
