Strictly for Geophysicists, Geologist, Petroleum Engineers. Let's discuss the future. In terms of career development, job prospects, also we will be discussing about various oil and gas activities in Nigeria.

Anyway, let me start by introducing myself, my name is Imagwe Marcus, a graduate of geophysics. All contributions are welcome. The future belongs to those who are well prepared for it. Thanks and God bless.

@ OP...Nice thread...you have started here. Anyway let me not take too much of the time..to introduce myself like my handle suggests i'm Saint Chukz and i'm a graduate geologist. Now, i'd like to ask you this OP. At what cost did you acquire your HSE certificates and also that of your JPTS Drilling training? That's all for now.

for now will use Petrel and kindgom suite after we have gotten our pre stack and post stack data, but the major aim of this project is to what we called SS satelite seismic to visualise reservoir to get a clear a image of reservoir at every depth , but we have guys currently in china developing our softwares called Satwares

I use opendtect presently, had kingdom suite installed on my laptop before it crashed and i've not gone back to get it re-installed.

imag5: My advice for such person is to go for skills...certificate course like roustabout, roughneck, cementers, mud engineering. wireline and so many, but with lower credit i think is high time he goes for his PGD in a good sch like uniport and it not that expensive, and also prayers will work,i know of a guy that paid 250k to an oil coy called weltek in ph just to learn welding and fabrication and he was not paid a dime after his traning for one year the company retain him and now He handles a project currently at Afam project for the comapny is a big boy, Story line.....pls dont despise little beginning and learn to sacrifice what u have to get what u want, even if it makes u to drink garri for one year.....according to wizkid suffer does not kill it makes u to be strong.....pls tell him to get a skill like Boseit,HSE and do his PGD and let him be patient...cheers.....umf
Well Imag5, nice to hear this great news from ur end. Please i would love if u could send me some of the software to me too especially Kingdom suite. Am working on my project (MSc) and its on porosity prediction from seismic.I also love to be carried along on ur IMR. my mail is borie2u@yahoo.com. Thanks
