frank043: This is serious piling work going on! Julius Berger is definitely the right firm to carry out this kind project...Have always wonder the kinda bridge that will be constructed...Will it be able to compete with the cable-stayed in Lagos? Well, the bridge is for real...Civil Engineering is a professional that builds a country's infrastructure....I'm glad to be a Civil Engineer...and will for ever be indebted to University of Ibadan...The First and the best!!! Thanks for the professional opinion o jare. Nor be all these small boys wey youth corpers teach for secondary school come here dey form ITK not knowing they are simply exposing their CLUELESSNESS 7 Likes |

I can authoritatively say that the pictures above are on point, I happen to pass around that area when I went to buy sand for some construction works.. And for those of you asking where is the massive construction, we are talking about a bridge here, not some flyover. Julius Berger is mobilizing their equipments and workers, prior to the task ahead. They've also grade the road that will connect with the bridge. JB is not your hush hush contractor that ll rush a contract so as to get another one and in the process make grievous mistakes.. 17 Likes |

iykbethany: Thanks for sharing these pics. It shows work is ongoing. Where/Who is the opposition in Lagos, Ogun, Oyo, Osun etc Abi na ONLY federal wey government dey ni? No wonder these STATE governments cannot bother with providing tap water for the people or providing education for all our children with PROFESSIONAL teachers recruited regularly instead of using youth corpers every year to produce half-baked CLUELESS students We cannot even talk about the LGAs 9 Likes |

Most people claiming the pix aint real don't even know where edo state is talk more of asaba or onisha head bridge, u guyz should take a chill pill, I ply d bridge everyday - Asaba to Onitsha to and fro- and these are pix of work going. If u are on d bridge from ur car u will see JB staffs and equipment. Work is ongoing, if previous administrations started like this we should be talking of a 3rd or 4th Niger Bridge now. At least I still remember the commissioning obasanjo did 2006 whit out any work afterwards 10 Likes |

atlwireles:Lol! anyi na ndi onicha mmili bu ofu na i mean that "We and Onicha people are one na". The Eze Chima clan in Anioch north Delta state regards Onicha as one of them. So we know "Onicha" as Onicha mmili (mmili is water in Delta igbo) cos of river Niger and to differentiate it from the other "Onichas" (Onicha Ugbo, Onicha Olona and Onicha Ukwu). Hope u understand. 3 Likes |
