Err, ladies and gentlemen, I think x-fire is through with his story (I recall seeing the word 'Concluded' at the end of one of his final posts, around page 35 or so, before the nairaland holocaust) and this thread has served its purpose. It has given a lot of people hope and direction, and has reignited motivation in others.

I have personally been blessed by this thread and may God bless all the contributors, especially darellrivers for replying my mail despite her busy schedule. I am certain many others who were faithful followers of this thread feel the same way.

If you are just seeing this thread for the first time, I'm sorry you missed most of the action but you may still go to page 1, scroll down and you will find a link to a compilation of x-fire's posts that someone has been gracious enough to share.

Someone else who has struggled, attained success and feels the pains of fellow youths enough to share his/her story or has recieved an 'unction/annointing' to do so may start a similar thread. It is a form of altruism and it never goes unrewarded. What goes around comes around.

This thread has done well and is entitled to a well deserved rest.

It is a pity that this great thread is ending this way (so to say from the look of things).

I can't forget the abundant wealth of experience, counsel and guidance this thread has given everyone of us.

I believe other contributors can still revive this thread.

Please, let us all do something.

I know it's very challenging but we can raise this thread again.

I will try and upload the softcopy for those that have missed it

Never knew this thread is still alive. I compiled a neat pdf of Xfire's whole write up, the write up excludes some of the personal advice he gave some guys.
Its 53 pages and I hope you find it useful. The file is just about 800kb.

Sign up for dropbox first, it's not convenient sending a 0.82 mb file to everyone.

To all who followed or are now following the thread, its sad that the crash destroyed all that wealth of knowledge and experience shared but like seun osewa said "you crashed our system but not our memory, nairaland remembers"...I have the complete work of xfire(and by complete I mean from page zero to the very page he said the end) saved on my system, will post all of it as soon as my schedules permits me to.

I know just how much I gained from his work and that of all other contributors of this thread ,I didn't just learn,I also got a mentor! @Darrellriver,you are acknowledged.

Hello all,

Sorry that I have been on an extended break after the unfortunate attack on Nairaland.

I will first all like to thank all those that have asked after me one way or the other since the attack on Nairaland. It's quite surprising that I still receive lots of private enquiries despite my prolonged inactivity on Nairaland. Some I have responded to, others I am still yet to respond. Kindly begin to post your enquiries here (except if it is very confidential) instead of sending me a pm. I always give more attention to enquires posted here and attend to them more promptly.

I will also like to say a big kudos to those that have saved or stored my write-ups (nabsprada, McWhillion, chimexcomm, bigdreams, etc). I find it really impressive.

I will continue to drop a few tips and write-ups from time to time, but maybe not as frequently as I used to because of increased engagements. But I assure that I will respond to all enquiries as much and as best as possible. I am using this opportunity to call on darellrivers to return to the thread.
