Johnnyessence:are you not tired of recycled politicians!!! It would have been better if apc brought a new face! New blood to contest against pdp and not some Islamic bigot who wants to impose sharia on my Nigeria!!! N/B I am a hard core PDP member! No matter the candidate apc brings, we are returning GEJ in 2015!!! Long Live PDP! Long Live The New Breed!! Long Live Akwa Ibom State! Long Live Udom Emmanuel!! Long Live Nigeria!!! 1 Like

Why should Tinubu be there when it's not primary? So other candidates can accuse Tinubu of anointing Buhari? At this stage, Tinubu has his favorite candidate but, can show it publicly, everyone deserves a fair shot! DebateNigeria: |

hisblud:bros ,believe me many people supporting buhari or clamouring for ameachi ,fashola don't know anything about nigeria politics. The best candidates to really give pdp and gej a strong fight are all in pdp . Apc hasn't got any sellable presidential candidate at the moment. Atiku is a strong force no doubt but his crisscrossing will backfire on him even if given the ticket. many politicians won't trust him. But all others in apc are just regional or tribal figures non of them are national figures . For ur party to be able to win the presidency you need someone that can get votes from the west and east and north. But I know that pdp will try and see to it that buhari gets the ticket. |

Saw their declaration clip on TV. You can hardly hear the speakers because of the amplified noise at point zero. |

It is pertinent and necessary to provide evidence as to claims of Buhari's suitability for 2015. From available evidence, though not comprehensive but convincing, Buhari was a former head of state. The major highlights of his regime were . The suspension of the 1979 Constitution in January 1984. . The deportation of illegal aliens on the 14th of April, 1984 and 9th of August, 1985 respectively. . The clamp down on economic saboteurs with the legal backing of the Miscellaneous Offences Decree No. 20 of 1984. . The freezing of accounts of political parties and corrupt ex-political office holders in the Second Republic in 1984. . And most especially the war against indiscipline policy which we all know among others. ....................................................................... I am not extolling his administration but I am looking at the popularity, goodwill, and support he has garnered especially with our old folks who believe that discipline and accountability is the backdrop of good governance and democracy. On the other hand, Nigerian youths are clamouring for efficiency, flexibility, job creation and opportunities, and sustainable development. They are looking up to those that are capable of doing these. More so, when the issue of resource control is staring eat us in the face. ideally, most Nigerian youths are clamouring for state independence or what is known as confederalism. My point is not the viability of the candidate presented by APC because as far as I am concerned, they are not a very strong opposition at the federal level. However, things might change in about a decade. I am in support of confederation and state control. This is what I believe can raise the standard of a common Nigerian. GOD BLESS US! WE WILL GET THERE!! |

Raiders: The opposition should bring in people like Fashola, Donal Duke, hey we got lots of good politicians with outstanding records. Why Buhari? There must be a hidden agenda for his desperate contest or a vendetta. |

tunde705:So we're now married to pdp? That a analogy is inappropriate since people are voted in for a single term. In marriage is forever. It's better you use the analogy of a contractor... What do you do after giving him 4 attempts to stabilise a situation but after 16 years he can't come up with anything tangible.? Please what do you do.... Give him another 4 years you'll say? |

Kutunban:Those people can win elections. They're not heavyweight politicians. You need someone that's known with certain quality to win election. If APC fields fasola or the Duke fella.. Who will vote them outside the West? Even people in the East won't VOTE duke. Buhari' s name strikes fear into the PDP camp. And he's not a man to be pushed around by godfathers |
