That should be the preserve of those who were injured by the accidents...they should take Dangote (the company) to court...so that they can get compensated. The government should also prosecute the drivers.

Don't excuse illegalities. It is because we have been doing so in this country for ages that we have outrages such as the young man who several years ago was shot dead by the Police for no fault of his own...and nothing happened.

If we as Christians cannot take responsibility for our wrongdoings, and for accidents that happen on our watch.,...then how can we claim to be the light of the world.

It is high time we started taking responsibility in this country....maybe things would improve.(And that includes the regulatory bodies who failed in their duty to stop the construction of such a defective building).

The problem in Nigeria is that people in charge refuse to take responsibility for bad things that happen under their watch.

I am not after TBJ as a person, nor do I hate him. I am just tired of the constant excuse upon excuse given by people in authority over any disaster in this country and I think it is high time it stopped.

Just last week, a Cabinet Minister in Japan resigned. Reason....some of his staff, people he btw did not employ....spent some time in a prostitute den. Using government money. Even though he knew nothing about the antics of his staff....he still took responsibility and resigned.(And Japan is a country with just 2% of the population being Christian).

If 'godless'' Japan can set such an example...why not Nigeria? Why can't pastors whose buildings collapse at least issue a statement taking responsibility for the mess? And why can't government officials whose job it was to supervise the building take respinsibilty? WHY hasn't the Lagos commissioner of works resigned.? Why hasn't the immigration minister resigned over the mess of the job recruitment?

I tire for you Nigerians....you just take your suffering sitting down, without any complaints.

By approve does not mean he approves of the structure, he might just give them money to do it, h ecan't possibly knw all what goes around in the church..its a big church.. the lagos building inspector should be prosecuted. B4 u build a house u have to get permit, and they come inspect to see what u doing on weekly or monthly basis..

i don't believe in christanity or muslim or there is god, am just stating the obvious fact here.. its not his fault, govt should setup necessary policies so companies in NIgeria can follow and if they don't they are fined heavily..just the same way govt is fixing the airplane industry in Nigeria.

why asked the question about pastor TB joshua's is;


he actually built(paid foe or owns) the building but is he the one to state wether its structurally okay? is he the commissioner for land and other related things.

one thing I know for sure is he can't go to jail no matter how it is judged. the lagos state gov't should have done something about the 'illegal' structur/building.
