When you go to the LASG civil service and you ask for Olori Ebi.....they will point you to his direction.

I'm not discussing rumor here with you..it's what is verifiable.......from circa N600M/per...he took Lagos to circa N14B per month.

You don't need to agree though....he is a Chartered Accountant with interest in Public Fiance that adequately understand finance of government.

You may disagree with Tinubu...but you can't deny his ability to spot raw gold and turn it into precious metal.

Yes he floated a Public Finance consultancy group after he left service as the AG.....he actually started of from a local government treasurer...and rose to the post of Accountant-General.

Everybody keeps harping on how we knew little about Fashola before he became governor, but should we now make it a norm to just close our eyes and allow Tinubu pick our leaders for us because his judgement is unquestionable, spotless and perfect? Yes we were lucky with Fashola but who says we will be with Ambode?

That leaves the option of him being sponsored by the party. I read the article clearly and did not see anywhere where it said the party paid for it, that is why I called him a crook.

Hamzat no doubt has good credentials in public service but the internal wranglings in the APC might have affected his chances, their father is a heavyweight in grassroot politics in Lagos state, hence I think 3 of his children occupy political positions in Lagos state.

Ganiyu Hamzat has been in the house of reps since 2003, Femi Hamzat has also been in the Lagos cabinet since 2003/2007 not too sure, I think they also have a sister in the state house of assembly. Moreover he's a muslim,if APC has decided to field a christian then he misses out.
And when the issue of who's an indigene or not crops up I've heard some people say their father holds a chieftaincy title from Ogun state which is where they are from although I don't believe that should an hinderance. Ambode is from ondo state anyway.

But I agree with you Ambode has to stand up for himself and show he's up for the challenge, people labelling him a Tinubu stooge might not augur well for him because it worked out with Fashola, not that I agree Fashola has been as excellent as he's often potrayed.

If he could increase revenue generation from 600m to 6 billion monthly imagine what he can do if he controls the state

He is the best man for the Job. He is an experienced public administrator. What is PDP coming to do? This man managed Lagos treasury and created new avenue for revenue generation for Lagos state. when OBJ seized the state allocation. Same means of revenue generation has created jobs for some people.

Tatiana I'm still not convinced. The state commissioners for budget and planning, and finance can claim they were also responsible for the budget increase. So I'm still not convinced.
