Senator Musiliu Obanikoro is the best candidate for PDP in Lagos State. He has enormous public service experience as against Jimi Agbaje who has non. The only problem is that both Bode George and Senator Adeseye Ogunlewe is that they don't see Senator Obanikoro as somebody they can control hence their determination to deprive him of the gubernatorial ticket. But they will fail!! Obanikoro is far more a Party man than Jimi Agbaje. Obanikoro is more ascessible than Jimi Agbaje and he has what it takes to rule a complex State like Lagos. To cap it all Obanikoro is a politician per excellence who will give APC and its godfather a good run for their money. Op needs to examine his head, Tinubu is a godfather that work behind the scenes for those he wants to rule while should Bode George be diffrent when you know that Agbaje is no match for Tinubu but in Bode george Tinubu will find his match.

My vote is for Mr. Agbaje not APC or PDP. I can't vote APC for any reason.

Its better to pick Obanikoro as a consensus candidate, rather than waste time an resources on a certain primary election which will ultimately be rigged in favour of someone who isn't even worthy to clean Obafemi Hamzat's shoes, let alone Akinwunmi Ambode.

Now he has to pay heavily for not being politically savvy and astute enough. I recently watched him in a programme gripeing away.

When Tinubu ole starts his murderous tendencies, will Agabje stand?! Will he not soft peddle? Even Funsho Williams that was killed by Tinubu could not stop Tinubu ole, how much more Agbaje? Once its closer to the elections, Tinubu will start killing Lagos PDP aspirants and Agbaje will soft peddle; Koro will NOT and this is KEY!!!

@OP, if you are truly very conversant with the politics of Lagos, then you will realise that the political structure of PDP in the state is not strong enough to defeat APC. The little chance that PDP have in the coming election is to exploit the in fighting in APC. And for them to exploit this chance, they need a very credible and popular candidate that will appeal to Lagosians as a technocrat. The only serious PDP candidate that wears that technocrat toga is Jimi Agbaje. Obanikoro is your usual Nigerian politician who just want to occupy any political office, he has little or nothing to offer. Lagosians can't entrust the leadership of the state into the hand of such a political flip-flop. Agbaje stand a better chance of getting elected than Obanikoro.

I agree with some of your points, PDP doesn't have a functioning machinery in the grassroots in Lagos State so whichever candidate they come up with might still lose.

But I tend to believe Obanikoro has a fighting chance than Agbaje so PDP might support him. Agbaje is still new to the party and moreover where is the machinery he used in running the 2007 campaign where he finishes a distant third? GEJ is more likely to give Koro financial backing .

I wouldn't trust Bode George to deliver the party funds to Agbaje at all even if it was provided. 2007 Bode George and Ashorobi just withheld the funds OBJ provided since they knew ACN was going to carry the day hence the factionalising of Lagos PDP from thereon.

Candidate like Agbaje would only be running for the post but i doubt if he can eventually get the seat. My advice is that he should run for senate .

Notice all Agbaje's supporters and Jimi Agbaje himself are all depending on Koro's support to win. Jimi's popularity is only on the pages of newspaper not on ground. 2007 Fashola got about 900K votes, Koro 700k votes, Jimi 18 k votes. So please where is his popularity??
