As a matter of fact, you are more likely to be gunned down in cold blood, in America....than in Nigeria!

Yea, l know they dont have Boko Haram in America but hey, you are a BLACK PERSON, even if you be American citizen!

Right now, l am listening to the interview the young WHITE COP (Darren Wilson) that killed the BLACK Ferguson guy is giving: You feel the lack of emotion and hatred this Cop has for the black guy! Despite the lies this lying bast@rd is strewing together (after all, "the dead stay dumb"!), you could feel the message of the White Supremacist KKK, oozing from this Cop... "if it ain't WHITE, it ain't RIGHT"!

Asked whether there is anything he would have done better, using hindsight, he just said he would have done the same thing over and over again!
I was expecting he would say "maybe l would have shot him in the leg, to immobilize him"! but hell NO, these guys are working to a plan.

Like somebody said in a public discussion on a Bus today, a time may come when "Blacks" have to start buying guns openly, just to "protect themselves",.... just like a lot of white folks in Ferguson were doing, a few days/hours before the jury delivered its verdict.

Even as we are speaking about the Ferguson guy, another "WHITE Cop", shot an 12yr old BLACK KID who was playing with a "TOY gun, in the park! A replay of the 911 emergency call, by another white member of the public shows that even the "untrained called" knew the gun was just an imitation (carried by children of that age group) and said so TWICE, in the call.

Yet, this WHITE COP who is trained in identification and use of firearm still thinks it was a "real gun" (but instead of even approaching the kid and try to make him hand it over like it took over eight hours to persuade an grown-up white man threatening to shoot people on a street, to hand over the "real gun" he was wielding!), ...hell NO, this WHITE Cop simply shot the 12yr old Black kid to death!

How many more "young Black Kids" have to die form the hands of these white "supremacist" Cops, ...before someone gets the message that: America is dangerous and unwelcoming for BLACK people?

I just hope folks realize that "Abroad" of today, is not the same Abroad of Yesterday. Buyers Beware! undecided wink

I've been in the US for almost 30 years and I have never been gunned down. As a matter of fact I have never had a firearm drawn on me by a LEO. I have never met any Nigeria who has ever had LEOs draw firearm or shoot them. Please don't try to make this to look like we have rabid Cops who go around hunting and killing civilians.

As for buying firearms, unless you're a felon you can walk into a Walmart and buy weapons and ammunition amongst with bread and eggs. Buying guns is not something reserved for "whites".

1) Something happened that day between Wilson and the person that got killed. Wilson must have interacted with many citizens that day that he did not kill. It takes two to tango. I never ever argue with a police officer, I get my ticket and take my case to court. It makes no lick of sense to argue with a person who has a gun and is authorize to use it.

2) I don't even buy my kids toy guns. Of all the kind of toys that you can buy your child why a replica gun? If I serve on a jury I would not find an Officer guilty for firing to defend his life if someone pointed a replica gun at him. You point anything at me that can harm me then you'll be dead.

Folks, let's look at personal control here.

Yeah! Still come here and got killed by the racist cop.
@cityNG, you are entitled to your opinion, but the fact is we have a rapid police officers and 99% don't give a f.ck about ur live, a black person be it a teenager, a little 12 years old or whatever as long as you have that black skin painted on your body, you are not worth the bullet in their gun. A black man on the street is as dead as living.

The slave mentality and prejudice is alive in America. I don't have issue with the cop, I'm sure this will not happen if these kids in Walmart in Dayton and Cleveland Ohio are white.
A black person is a dead person walking to an average white rapid police man.

The black community here need to talk to their kids, you are worth nothing to the cop. I was crying listening to that motherfuckey reading the jury decision and was like wtf.
My days are numbered here, my kids will not stay long here, I better moved them to Europe.

America is large enough to contain the world's population, They don't have to complain about the number of Visa Applications they received.

Fair figure compared to the present situation of the country.
U call that figure fair. I'm sure the states has d lowest amount of applicants. Count the amount of countries with embassies and consulates in Nigeria, and multiply by that figure, u'll know that over 65% of Nigerians want out

okon11:

The US Embassy in Abuja and the Consulate in Lagos received more than 220,000 non-immigrant visa applications between October 1, 2013 and September 30, 2014.

The Consular Chief of the embassy, Ms Stacie Hankins, disclosed this while responding to questions from newsmen on the new visa procedures on Tuesday in Abuja.

Hankins said the figure represented an increase of about 38,000 visa applications when compared with the 182,000 applications in the previous year.

She said, “Between October 1, 2012 and September 30, 2013, the embassy in Abuja and consulate in Lagos received more than 182,000 non-immigrant visa applications, the majority of which were approved.

“Between October 1, 2013 and September 30, 2014, we received more than 220,000 applications.

“Again, the majority of those applications were approved.

“We hope that Nigerians’ desire to visit our beautiful country will continue to grow.

“And we look forward to working with our partners to allow qualified tourists and business travellers to do so.”

According to her, the Consulate in Lagos received 15, 500 immigrant visa applications between October 1, 2013 and September 30, 2014, out of which 4, 900 applications were approved.

Hankins said there had been increase in the visa applications received by the embassy over the last five years.

She added that there was no limit to the visa applications the embassy could receive and approve.

The News Agency of Nigeria reports that the consular official explained that the US-Nigeria partnership remained strong.
