Reports coming from Rivers state has it that the All Progressives Congress in the state has selected a consensus candidate to run for the 2015 Governorship election. DAILY POST gathered that elders of the APC in the state settled for the Lawmaker representing Andoni-Opobo-Nkoro at the Federal House of Representatives, Dakuku Peterside to run for the exalted position. For as long as he is not PDP candidate, he should just forget about being the governor of Rivers State by 2015. A man that can not even win his polling booth let alone wining his LGA. I would have loved it if Magnus Abe had emerged the chosen one. Anyway, the party knows better. Besides Andoni, Opobo, Tai, Eleme, Gokana and Khana are from the same senatorial zone. The representation of the zion has been between Opobo and Ogoni since 1999. Abe may just have to go back to the Senate. 2 Likes |
