Fellow importers kindly advice. I placed order last week Monday on aliexpress and I picked DHL option because I needed the goods urgently. DHL is supposed to be 8 days maximum and today makes it 10th day. I have not been able to track my order not to talk of seeing it. Kindly advise me on what to do. The seller keep telling me to be patient.

there is nothing to fear, it is called an LC type of postage or shipping. You will be able to track it from china to nigeria ,but once it reaches nigeria ,you can't . You will have to rely on pure luck. The major disadvantage is that you can't track it in nigeria unlike registered mail,which comes with RC or so. Averagely it will take like 3 weeks before u get it or more .if your post office is good ,they will give u a call if not u will have to be going or checking them over and over again. Another thing is that at times ,the tracking may not even come up for days and weeks. Always make sure you instruct ur seller to send with registered mail.

I forsee in the very very very nearest future ,a nigerian bank establishing a logistics company in nigeria or partnering a logistics company in nigeria.

Can you drop a link of what you bought to get this tracking number? I once tried to play a fast one by buying an unbelievable low priced item and it turned out to be from a fake seller who also issued me a non trackable tracking number. Though A Express letter closed the deal due to it's suspicious nature and refunded all of us our money. We were up to 800, from different countries
