@blogerrina thank you so much for those words of faith. I know God is able. and Amen! I will do as advised as well and I pray everything goes as planned. I'm looking @ baptist medical centre east or Jackson hospital. my friend told me it 4500 for cs 3days, 2800 womanly 2days and doc 1200. All tests inclusive. waiting for more info from her while I do my research too. She just put to bed so I want to give her time before I start sending her on errands, lol.

@Fruitfull, are you still planning towards alabama in early Feb or you've changed your mind totally to Houston cos am serzly looking out for who we can share accomodation/transportation bill together. Thanks

Hello oolamie,
Which hospital is this pls? I have someone who is interested in alabama.
Hospital & accomodation. Do you mind sharing the details please?

Oolamie:
Please is dir any March mom in here thinking of birthing in montgomery alabama? got this quote from a lady yl making my research on which state to have my baby and God forbid any complications one can still afford to pay so am thinking of who we can share a room together i.e share the accommodation & transportation bill together.

Doctors fee which will covers Normal delivery, pre and post natal care, some lab work and ultrasound is $1200

Hospital bill for normal birth is $2900

Epidural is $700 (optional)

Circumcision for baby boys is $180

Pediatrician is $30 per visit(2 visits)

Accommodation and transportation is $3000 for two months (typical accommodation but can be higher based in what u want).

Am not advertising oo just want someone interested n we can share accomodation & transportation bills with me. Thanks

Pls if u r using gwinnett don't stay more than one day, as their bill is usually not straight forward. Northside is more like it. I used gwinnett n I'm still biting my fingers. Be careful o

I've been hearing this about Gwinnett o and am getting scared. I've already made a deposit with the doctor, what do I do now o. Anyways I won't stay more than a day by God's grace. ..
Re: Give Birth In USA: Cost And Procedure? by Shawbabe: 7:04pm On Dec 08, 2014
Bmay how did u make a deposit to the Dr? Which Dr? I'm using one of the ObGyn group of physicians for $1800. And what's ur accommodation plan?

But like Mimibe said, I'm considering Northside. Just that their Drs are $2500.

Dr.Soyoola, he was recommended and a number of people seem to have used him. The deposit is refundable though. I'm going to be staying with family. Also seriously considering Northside now too since this "not too straightforward" Gwinnett bill keeps pppping up.

Hope to meet you then too. The weather has been like naija weather, was sunny all thru last week, but changed on sat cos there was light showers. its a bit cold now, about 48 degrees Fahrenheit, still bearable though and not as cold as the northern states. Also what airport do you intend to land in?

Hello everyone, I have decided on El Paso. Pls moms and dads correct me if I'm wrong, what to do first is; 1. Get a Dr 2. Get correspondence from him on price. Send a letter to the US embassy to notify them of my intentions (had my visa before I found out was pregnant) 3. Pay a certain amount (if necessary) to the hospital to demonstrate to PoE that I have every intention of paying.
I read almost the entire thread in 3 days. My head is reeling. I get the general idea of the do's and don'ts but I would really appreciate some guidance.....well actually, some one to just holla back at least for now smiley I'm an April mom who'd love to join this family, find other April moms going to El Paso and also become part of the success stories I have read here.

Ps
Still learning how to use NL, so sorry if post is kinda long

she would have just renewed her visa before going instead of putting herself through the unnecessary stress and trauma, sometimes wrong advice and inadequate research causes situations like this, well most Nigerians are ignorant about the fact that you can go and give birth in the states without lying or irregularities, I pray she's favoured, she will get her child citizenship but only God's miracle will make her eligible to enter the states again once she leaves there

Everything from last application was the same.just a change of doctor and destination.

Hello Hopefulme,

Congrats on your visa. Was your interview in Lagos or Abuja and did you wait 90 days before re-applying?
Am considering re-applying for the third time in Lagos, can't go to Abuja cos my tommy is huge and can't wait 90 days either no time again.

Thanks in advance for your response.
