Even if he has fled to Nigeria, Texas via the US government, can request for his extradition because both countries have a signed Extradition treaty.
I'm also 98% sure he will receive the death penalty.

Why would he come to Nigeria? Is he Nigerian?

I am not in support of the murder of this woman but honestly, the attitude of our Nigerian women over there in the states can be so terrible. A relative of mine who stays in the US told us that what many Nigerian women residing in the US do is to seize the opportunity which gender laws in favour of women has provided to blackmail their husbands so that they win custody of the house (even if it is the man's house) and their child or children. This gives them the opportunity to live frivolous lifestyles which the initially the man would be against.

The man is arrested and thereafter jailed and if he is lucky to escape prison, he will be made to pay alimony to the woman if he has a job and in the event where he is unemployed, he will be warned not to ever have access to his children or risk being jailed or even deported.

Tell me which man will go through all these and not become insane especially in the case where he sacrificed alot to bring the woman to the US and everything he worked for all his life goes like that?

This may not be far from the truth in this particular case.

This is not true at all.

Don't listen to stories make your own findings.

Most African women wants to be called Mrs by all means, even though it feels like hell for them being married. They dread the taboo of singleton and gossips of the idle.

The only one I've ever read about Nigerian men and killing their spouses outside of Texas was in Los Angeles where a guy tied his Wife to the back of thier pickup truck and dragged her around the neighborhood till she died.

many NIDs in Texas need total mental overhauling

Even my friend and her husband over there keep complaining about the environment and how it is not marriage friendly.

Was that L.A guy high on horseshit? I hope he got the gas chamber.

The worst part is, she will not get Justice like a typical american would. There will be no presure on the justice system for her because of her skin and now double whammy for being a Nigerian, not to talk of if she's poor, the most is a slap on the wrist. May her family be comforted.

A day earlier, police received a call from the two-story complex, where employees had discovered the stabbed and badly decomposed body of 27-year-old Anastacia Oaikhena-Lambert crammed into the apartment's large white General Electric refrigerator.

It had been weeks since neighbors had seen anyone inside.

Neither the West African woman's husband, 38-year-old Patrick Lambert, nor their 11-month son, Achilles Lambert, were anywhere to be found. That troubling discovery prompted authorities to issue an Amber Alert and a nationwide hunt for the young boy and his father.

Maintenance man Antonio Gamboa said on Monday he checked on the apartment after getting complaints about the smell.

"I only thought there was a turkey someone had left in the freezer," he said. The power had been cut off on Nov. 20
, and Gamboa said departing residents sometimes leave food in their freezers. Instead, he found the body.

"It's not what I was expecting," he said.

Residents said that although they had frequently seen Oaikhena-Lambert and her son around the grounds, as well as her husband, they knew precious little about them.

"This is crazy," said Sandra Bray, a home healthcare provider who visits the complex regularly to care for Brenda Smith, a 57-year-old resident.

"I just hope that baby's OK," she said.

Lesbia Garcia, a neighbor, said: "I never imagined someone would be capable of something like this." Garcia has lived in the complex with her husband and two children for 13 years.

Police said the last time anyone had been in the dead woman's apartment was around Thanksgiving.

The family had been living there since June, according to employees at the complex.

According to Oaikhena-Lambert's LinkedIn page, she had studied at the Thailand-based Ramkhamhaeng University, interning for an AIDS-prevention group and later working for a Nevada-based publishing company. In May, she posted on another social media site that she and her family recently had moved to Houston from Hawaii, and described herself as "Married and blessed with a beautiful son."

She dreamed of hosting her own television or radio show.

Police said the FBI were interviewing family members in an effort to locate Achilles.

"We're letting the FBI interview family members right now," Houston Police Detective Jason Robles said.

Oaikhena-Lambert called police in September, complaining that her husband had threatened to kill her, the detective said.

"It was just a report," Robles said. "Nothing ever came of it."

In Hawaii, Lambert had been charged with assault, he said.

A Nigerian woman namedAnastacia Oaikhena Lambert (pictured below) was found dead in her home in Houston, Texas on Monday December 8th and Houston police are now looking for herestranged husband, Achilles Lambert, who has gone missing with the couple's 11 month old baby.

27 year old Anastacia was found stabbed to death and her body stuffed inside a refrigerator in the Houston apartment. The decomposing body was found by maintenance workers after a strong foul odor was perceived coming from the woman's home.

The couple's 11 months old son is now believed to be with 38-year-old Patrick Lambert, who police suspect killed his estranged wife and they have put his face out.

Just two months ago, Anastacia called 911 to report that her husband was threatening her with a knife but when police got there the couple had settled and no charges were ever filed.

According to KHOU, the Achilles has not been seen or heard from in about a week. And that is how long they think Anastacia had been in the refrigerator. The last time she was seen by neighbours walking around the complex was about two weeks ago

An Amber Alert has since been issued for the missing baby...

This is wrong
Achilles lambert is the baby not the killer
The houston news piece I posted says the man is Patrick lambert
Linda ikeji should verify her news before posting and stop confusing readers with shoddy write ups
In her piece the killer has two different names

Women in abusive relationships need to learn to run away n keep well away from their oppressor. Even in a developed country like US, this happens a lot despite the fact that there are orgs such women can reach out to....before d attraction turns fatal.
Poor woman, if d ex is psycho, by now d baby is probably dead too. Such a pity! cry
My humble submission
