Why Nigerian Girls Are So Disrespectful. by Polchiz(m): 8:45pm On Dec 14, 2014
The way Nigerian girls look down on men regardless of their age baffles me tremendously.

I have taken my time to find out why it is so and obviously, men are the cause of their problems.

Below are my findings:

1. Many men are obsessed with sex- It sends painful sensation down my spine when I see a full-grown man with his education and exposure spending his hard-earned money on 16-year old girl just for sex. Consequently, the girl has gotten a bad impression about men. You tell her 'Chioma how are you?' and she goes ahead to tell her friends that you want to sleep with her.

2. Girlfriend/Relationship Status- During my University days, what makes a man popular was NOT his CGPA but the number of girlfriends he has. I know a guy who gives his girlfriend N10,000 every month and then begs food from hostel to hostel. MUST you have girlfriends or be in a relationship when it is glaring that you don't intend to marry even in the next 5 years? I thought relationship prepares one for marriage but it has become a source of sexual gratification. No wonder most girls have been in a relationship for years and yet are unmarried.

Why would a girl respect any man when there are thousands of them who are interested in her (sorry want to sleep with her).

3. Lack of self worth- One day I came across an M. Sc degree holder begging and running around an SS 2 student like a headless chicken. For Christ's sake, where is our self worth?

During my NYSC, some corpers do run after village girls who are still in JSS 3 and SS1. As a result of this, those girls disrespected every male corper in that village.

How did our men get to this pathetic situation?

Honestly, during my time, you hardly see a girl who wasn't in a relationship but even today most of them are NOT married.

For me, having a boyfriend or girlfriend is not an achievement and a girl shouldn't be dispectful for that.

Who doesn't have a boyfriend? Even primary pupils do have these days.
