The APC is the reason why you have not been able to produce a fertile spermatozoa. This APC have been giving people sleepless nights since 1878. Now can you help me remind Okupe that to be a TB Joshua is not a day job?
Truth is bitter,isn't it? cheesy

Philip with the 70 empty skull, you can't even tell when something is too artificial to be real.Smuggling a letter to the commander in chief that reports your superior officers whether negative or positive is a treasonable offense, because your commander in chief will still confirm from your superiors and that is tantamount to a breach of your military oath.
The duty of a soldier is not to ask the question 'why' but to do or die.
I hope you're aware that a commander's letter can never go directly to the C-IN-C no matter how bad it is .The military still maintain their chain of command jealously unless you've mistaken the Nigerian military for your usual village gathering......smh.
Sometimes I do wonder if being dumb is a gift when I come across people like you.

Because I have a brain that work better than that your very tiny cocoon. And to educate you better, there are several categories of people who want your master out of Aso Rock come next year. One, the disappointed Nigerians who never believed a grossly incompetent president who have blamed every other person but himself for his inadequacies will be presiding over a great nation like Nigeria and bringing her shamefully to her knees. Two, coalition of the opposition parties led by the APC who believe they can do far better than the current occupier of that coveted seat and last but not the least the frustrated common man on the streets who do not have access to government funds like you and so can barely access one square meal a day. But to you desperate TAN members you categorize all these people into one - the APC. To you guys the CNN, America, South Africa, Obama, Cameron are all members of the APC when they say a kindergarten can do better than your god in Aso Rock. Now the bad news is when your god fails in his desperate bid to get re-election next year there is little you guys can do to help him and you will be reminded that you do not have monopoly to violence.
The problem with e-rats like you is that the moment people refuses to subscribe to your janj.aweed ideology they become paid agents in your cataract infested eyes..........continue to wallow in your absolute ignorance that is second to none you'll get there. grin

Thank you Mr Commander, This is what Nigerians need.

We all know that, that dried fish with open teeth is behind the BH.

He want to get power by all means, if you could remember what he said after losing the election in 2011, he said that "Blood will flow on Nigeria soil" but today it is happening.

The man knows himself very well and he is a chronical bastaard!

GEJ IS THE PRESIDENT TILL 2019, Quote me and i will Bleep your brain.

That is if hunger has not killed you before 2016, Most of you will turn beggers before GEJ is done with your arzz.
You think National security is a joke? Do you have any Idea what Boko Haram is capable of?
Did you see the video where they were beheading people caught on the streets?
You are just too dumb to realize that Jonathan is not what a commander in chief should be,
needless to remind you that a vote for Jonathan is a vote, for murder, incompetence, high cost of living etc
That wish shall visit your family a thousand fold before 2019. You think it was chicken that has been blown apart all these while.

God shall curse the people who with their votes will continue the statusquo that brought nothing but death to the Nigerian people.

If the army with a gun has no balls to sanitize their system and ours, who are we mere civilians to hear their cry.

the letter has me ashamed and afraid.

for the top brass and politicians, this crisis, like so many other things in nigeria, is simply an opportunity to chop. it is the same way the subsidy burgeoned under this administration. while nigerians are dying and bh is advancing, the ogas at the top are sharing contracts , diverting fund and popping champagne

i am ashamed to be a black man. i cannot understand how people can be so short sighted as to be sabotaging our defenses in order to enrich themselves in a time the country is in peril.

The problem is not from the leaders but the citizens, are people not warming up to vote Jonathan again?
Let all the political appointees and their families, contractors and families stand behind Jonathan as people who were greatly favored by this administration while the rest stand with the opposition, let us see how he will get the two third majority votes.

This country never ceases to amaze me. Why is that we cannot get anything right as a nation? Corruption has eaten deep into the very fabric of our society. Even the once dreaded Nigerian Army has now been reduced to a man-o-war- like organisation because of corruption. One thing is certain, we need a change in this country. We can't continue like this. Another 4 years of GEJ in power would be catastrophic, to say the least.

you just woke up abi? who did you vote in 2011? who do you want to vote out the mess you made? Go and vote him out the same way you vote him in.

Did you remember a thread warning the government of Ebola, while professor chukwu was busy enriching himself and leaving the entry points unguarded, Sawyer claimed nearly 6 lives within 2 months.

Nigerians today are happy that Ebola was stopped forgetting that if the right thing was done, there wont be Ebola in the first place.

Boko Haram is advancing, the politicians are making money and warming their private jets ready to zoom off, the dumb citizens are Ok!! with the trend.

Abuja can be bombed Boko Haram has proved that over and over time, vote Jonathan for all I care but before it gets to where I am, I am already on a KLM flight.

Nigerian Army corrupt since 1800, if the rank and file complains the ogas will tag it mutiny. If you die, captured or AWOL they will divert your money which is their main aim. May God help us to love our neighbours as ourselves.

Although I support Goodluck Jonathan's reelection bid, the truth is that everything written by that soldier had been told to me by my cousin who is now at home nd has vowed never to return to the Nigerian Army. He said the army authorities were using them to make money. He told me that he managed to escape an attack by the BH members and he ran out of maiduguri immediately and vowed never to return. He said over 50 soldiers died in that attack and that about 70 of them escaped from that territory back to their families. Many of them have returned to maiduguri after their salaries was stopped but many of them also have vowed never to return to that war zone because their commanders are making money while the rank and file die on the war fronts. He said the last attack that made him decide to become a runaway soldier was the 6th attack and that in all of the attacks, they lost at least 3 soldiers. He spent 1 year and 9 months in maiduguri and was part of the multinational task force which included the Chadian, Cameroonian and nigerien military. He said the cammerounians started to withdraw their troops from the multinational task force because of the attitude of Nigerian military authorities who are just bent on making money from the war. He said the president has tried and that the president has released enuf funds to crush Boko haram but the military authorities buy few old and archaic weapons and embezzle the rest of the money. He infact said that the military authorities especially those of the northern stock do not want the war to end because they are making money from it. He has vowed never to leave the military saying not even his mother can make him go back. As at the last count, I know 17 soldiers (within the rank of private and corporal) who are alive but having gone and see how their generals and colonels feed fat from the war while their colleagues die, they have decided to become runaway soldiers and they have wittily parked out of the barracks and relocated to places that is far from their barracks to rent apartments where they hope to start a new life. 2 of this 17 are related to me and they have both spent close to 2 years in borno and Niger republic border with Nigeria. They say they are lucky to be alive. They ran away not because they are not ready to die for their country but because their authorities are making money from this insurgency and they are dieing because they are ill equipped. His account has been blocked already even though he is yet to take the stipends paid into the account while he was still at the war front. He said they pay them 30,000 naira per month apart from their salaries. 30,000 naira per month means 1,000 naira per day for facing death on a daily basis and when u die at they war front, the corpse of some soldiers who died were not even buried by the army. They were left for vultures to feed on. Even when their CO complains, he is court natialed. He said their former CO is facing court matial because he asked his troops to retreat when they ran out of ammunition while facing Boko hatam. But the militar authority wouldn't hear that. They prefer 200 soldiers die so that salaries and allowances meant for them would go into their personal accounts.

This is sad but it is the truth.

The president needs to do something about this asap. I don't know how he would do it but Nigerian army needs an emergency attention.

Now this is a typical example of the dumb Nigerian I was complaining about.
You want the army to change but you want to re elect an incompetent commander in chief?

First four years 2 of your cousins escaped death and you want to give Jonathan another 4yrs abi?

They wont be lucky next time.
Imagine the kind of bingo I share the same passport with? "My fellow citizens" is really an insult this days.

Reference:
I doubt this was written by a serving officer in the capacity he mentions for the simple reason that it is short on details. Just as a matter of fact. One example. The infantry soldier regards his weapon in combat as his soul. Why can't this person be specific as to the inferiority or indequacy of the weapon systems provided viz the insurgents and its direct influence in the theatre or specific engagements.

It is not unusual for battlefield feedback to get through to the QM and adjustments can be made but these have to be specific. Are their AK's jamming in the dust, are the magazines inadequate. How many crates of 7.62 does each section carry. Transport, food, water, flak jackets. These are the things a typical soldier is concerned about. A typical soldier will not know the intricacies of command and control and he is not interested.

I feel the problems depicted occur in the offices not on the field. The ultimate impact may be felt there but I can wager that there are power struggles going on within mid to upper level command and control, that is responsible for this. The broad amount of information collated in this report is just beyond that of a typical serving soldier in the theatre and its lack of detail speaks of something more akin to politics rather than operational.

He can only give out info that wont compromise his identity.
He complained of inadequate ammo, isnt that enough info already? the 2X 30 rounds ammo is not enough even as a civillian.
I pay for six magazines per Mopol of 3 and 2 soldiers of 5mag to guard a mere office why is two magazines per soldier enough to fight insurgency?

A guy came here giving tribute to his dad who was killed after he ran out of ammunition in the war front also, the other military thread showed a picture of a second lieutenant in a BH zone with only 2 mags.

What other info do you need, is 2 X30 rounds ammo enough for this war, yes or no?
bear in mind that the accuracy of the AK47 is miserable.

If you don't believ the story then that's your business. Those of us who resides in the north know that the real benefactors of Boko haram are in the army.
The commanders, GOC etc down to some individuals in the army are corrupt. The only way they make money is to make sure the insurgency continues so more money will be pumped into their hands, or diverted into their fat bank accounts.
How do we explain the dollars found in the crashed airplane at yola? Who was the money meant for? I think the President needs to remove the present COAS and some of his high ranking men if he wants to end terrorism.
Bunch of corrupt army officials.
