PDP Fast Losing Ground In Ekiti, Say Party Chiefs / Gej Losing To Opposition / GEJ Losing A Poll Carried Out By His Aide (2) (3) (4)

PassingShot: PDP rules Ekiti and Ondo. They stand a good chance of winning there. Lagos will be tight, I think Buhari wins. |

tbaba1234: POC, Buhari got over 12 million votes in the last election without winning in Adamawa, Kwara, Kogi, Lagos, Taraba and Nassarawa. It is safe to say that he will win all those mentioned states in the next election plus the SW. The only state PDP may muscle out of the SW is Ekiti. So how do you even imagine that PDP may win? PDP has effectively become the new face of opposition party in Nigeria. We are only waiting for the official confirmation by February 16th/17th. 5 Likes |

tbaba1234: Ondo might go to PDP but it's a very close call. Lagos is Buhari's and nothing will change that. Think of the fact that GEJ only won Lagos in 2011 by 66% which was based on sentiments and the fact that Tinubu sold out on Buhari at the last minutes. Those factors are gone and GEJ will do well to even get 40% from there. Except of course you want to tell me that Tinubu and Fashola are not a big factor in Lagos politics. 2 Likes |

PassingShot:If I were you, I would face realities than trying to colour facts to suit a purpose. There is no way PDP would lose Kogi, Taraba, Ondo, Adamawa states. Kogi has a sitting PDP governor while the campaign director of Jonathan is no other person than the Igala old soldier, Ahmadu Alli. Sen Smart Adeyemi, Jonathan's man is returning to the senate and would shake off Dino Melaye's feeble challenge. Darius Isiaku is solidly on ground in Taraba. He would deliver the state handily. Believe The Nations defeatist propaganda on Ondo State and you would believe anything. The Iroko is a tested gladiator on the political turf. Mimiko is a political slayer of national reckoning. His victim count includes incumbent Agagu, Akeredolu/Tinubu and others. In thirty days time, we would know which way the cookie crumbs in Ondo State other than the propaganda on the purported defection of 46 PDP leaders to the APC. Adamawa is traditionally a PDP state. Ribadu is a governor in waiting. APC cause is hardly helped by a scorned Atiku yearning to get back at the Tinubu/Obasanjo humiliation in the APC primaries. He has maintained an indifferent attitude to Buhari's campaign so far: yet to join the campaign train. Lagos would go either way but Jonathan will marginally nick it. Jimi Agbaje is trending in Lagos and is causing the APC all sorts of trepidations. Add that to the Igbo voters constituting at least 30% of Lagos voting population. The Igbos naturally vote PDP. Can you now get the picture? Forget the noisemaking. 6 Likes 1 Share |

Of the thirty - six states, PDP will triumph in fifteen of them. Eleven of those state they will win convincingly. APC will , obviously, win in twenty one state. Eighteen of those states more than convincingly. FCT is anybody's. When I have time I will break everything down. 3 Likes |

maestroferddi: Do you know who the most hated political figure in Ondo is right about now?! I urge you to get closer to the streets in the state and you will review your comments as above. Mimiko has done fu..ck in in his second term... The electorates are aggrieved and will get back at him at the presidential polls. It is no secret that the ranks of the PDP has been seriously battered, bruised and depleted in the states.... It will hurt the PDP in that state next month. 3 Likes |

maestroferddi: We can argue this back and forth without reaching any agreement but I leave you with these: 1. Believe that PDP will win all the states they control, especially in the North, at the risk of being disappointed beyond your imagination. 2. Atiku's factor is of no much importance in the calculation of votes in Adamawa even though I am sure he will campaign for Buhari there. CPC of Buhari, without any political structure got 38% of the votes there in 2011 while PDP managed 56%. 3. I laugh at your permutation for Lagos. It's really laughable to think that GEJ even has a slight chance in Lagos of today. So you think all Igbos in Lagos (even if I leave you with the 30% assumption) will vote for GEJ in this election? Tinubu's and Fashola's primary responsibility is to secure Lagos for APC and trust those guys not to fail. Jimi's performance in Lagos will be worse than any of the past PDP's candidates in that state. 3. The simple truth is that without any governor by his side and no political structure in 2011, Buhari got over 12 million votes even with less popularity. Now, add the fact that he has many big wig politicians and solid political structure this time around, coupled with the fact that GEJ has performed woefully and many Nigerians have bought into the Change Message, you don't have to be told that the election is APC's to lose. 3 Likes 2 Shares |

ElFenomeno1:I would hazard the guess that you either read The Nation newspaper, listen to Radio Continental or watch TVC television channel. If Tinubu via Akeredolu could only come third in the last guber elections despite having literally relocated to Akure, what is the chance of his outdoing Mimiko now via a rudderless APC in Ondo State? 1 Like |

maestroferddi: No not at all... I am not one sided or biased when it comes to real political analysis. Akeredolu is not an heavyweight anyway The game changer here is the electorates, the people who will throng the polling stations.... When they do, they will take with them their grievances with Mimiko to the polls Mark my words... PDP won't romp in Ondo! 2 Likes |
