ugoboss26: ...and you guys have a government and governor in that state? ...you said the politicians use them? I think you need good leadership, a government that truly have the love of the pple at heart. I will call these children Calabar alimanjaris. This should be the easiest thing a government can fix than roads, stadium or christmas/ new year festivals. If you guys fail to vote right this time again, you will continue with your problem. Vote GMB/PYO!!! Vote APC!!! ...and demand for good leadership. 1 Like |

Calabar south use to be a place where pple do thier business til 3.am bt now 9:30 pm evrybdy has gone due to the fear of those boys. If this harvoc is comited in kano or ogun the local residence wil do same. So rewrite this article its not abt christians or muslems issues. |

I do not in anyway support jungle justice.Nigerian youths have resorted to taking justice into their own hands because the Nigerian Police Force and the justice system has become a failure. Some years ago, nigerians would gladly hand a criminal over for prosecution, corruption crept into our judicial system and criminals simply bought their freedom, in some cases they unleashed more violence on the community that arrested them. This is how we got to this point. The NPF and our corrupt justice system is responsible for the decay in the populace civility. This is humanity fighting back and its not looking pretty at ALL!!!RIP to the dead. Shame on our failed justice system and the Nigerian Police Force. 1 Like |

Its barbaric and very sad- the government is weak-there should have been a law against jungle justice with serious punishment for those that involve in it. Naij is a funny country, religious people that loves to pay tithes and offerings thinking that will wipe their sins away...lol,pathetic. |

Beyond the word Barbaric. There is no word in this lifetime that describes this act. Dear God,i pray that you accept his soul regardless of his inequities. May you accept him and welcome him. Amen. |

laplace12: Bro, let's keep working at it. Two wrongs don't make one right. Let's keep demanding for good governance, trust we are closer to achieving it than yesterday. ...this has to start from every individual to do what is right and condemn wrong doings ..remember how the queuing culture and WAI started? We can do it again. |

murder in the guise of jungle justice is wrong and evil. I will nt justify the killing of anyone on the basis of accusations of the most heinous crimes unless proven beyond doubt to be so, thus all who images where captured in the photographs must be arrested and interrogated to establish their role in the evil situation and appropriate lawful actions taken against them. As for the op striking a similarity between this isolated random incident of evil barbarism with the victim being a person accused of theft an his accusers being overwhelmingly evil and lost to reason. this can by no means be compared to the mass savagery and wickedness that is fuelled by islam where innocents including newborns are killed without thot and to the cheer of their larger society. the idea of killing others is so appealing that they would even kill themselves to kill innocent people. op stop being ignorant |

It is indeed worrisome. That is the dividend of how low our society has gone as a product of the numerous unpleasant things we come across everyday. However, I think that your point would still be well made without reference to the issue of religion-Muslims are violent or Christians are wicked thing. You should not attempt to condemn evil by technically fanning the embers of war. Some people are just "too" sensitive to such reference. Between, I do not see the relevance of making reference to our religions in the post. Peace. |

FuccK you man. U just an air head What does this have to do with christianity? Did any of the killers read out any potion of the bible while carrying out the act. Or where shouting Glory be to God. (Lyk muslims shout Allah Akhbah den it is boooom, followed by ta ta ta ta ta Kalashnikov )Or did they say the killed in the name of Jesus. This just a mob action and I support it the way I'll support guys up north burning identified bh members. He got what he deserved. This keep on terrorizing innocent pple in Calabar south |

Jungle justice is evil no doubt, but u need to be a resident in that neighbourhood to know the feelings of the people. I have lived in calabar south and those boys are not just thieves, they are murderers and rapist, in fact I have lost an uncle who was robbed and killed in his house. These boys are terrorist, if they come to ur house to rob and u have nothing they might kill u or cut u with machete they are not smiling. So when u see the residents happy that one of them was caught and burnt alive, don't blame them it is a war between the residents and the armed robbers, they is bound to be casualties, its just d turn of the thieves and I bet u they wouldn't be robbery for a while in that axis, it was a price to pay for peace 2 Likes |

Our hearts are just too dark, in it is pure breed hatred. Why kill a soul, who stole by burning him like a goat? Our Politicians are worse off than that thief, infact in the heart of each and everyone of us ,the plan to steal lies therein, when given access to public funds. |

olas24u: And you think Nigerians care about legality and law? NOTE I though stand strongly by this; who or whatever the people want, they should be allowed to have and nothing or no one else should be forced on them. If the people want GMB, GEJ should not be forced on them. If the people want GEJ, GMB should not be forced on them. This is Dewz's political stance. |
