Recently a similar thing happened in lagos. Two women were severely tortured for stealing pepe as a result, one of the women died. Human rights followed up on the incidence and got the perpetrators arrested and punished. They were traced through the phone video recordings taken during the incident.

Nobody is awestruck by anyone here,and all those examples you gave are totally off the point,totally. The fact remains that its only here in Africa that we'll set ppl ablaze for smth as petty as stealing and its one of the many reasons we're are still looked down on by the rest of the world.
