I know some people out their are experiencing the same problem, so pls I need diverse advise and contributions on how I can scale through this hurdle.

try and maintain a constant temperature. Somebody had ds experience some 3 weeks back and wz advisd to maintain temperature. 9 days they shold still be in d hacthery, so regulate the temp. Hop ds works for u.

I understand perfectly what you are experiencing, first off check your artemia, coz their are too many fake artemia in circulation.. Reduce your water volume a bit, use aqua-pro after one week and also a SMALL quantity of salt. you can also reserve a treated pond, after one week u transfer the fries to the pond. do constant flow through.

For them to survive to d nineth day any of this factor can be-high water level,which i know u know,bacteria outbreak,those broodstocks aint mature enough/diseased,over feeding,pollution,lack of o2(low in cold time),it will be okay,cover d tank,do flow thru,if disease aquapro can be used from 3rd day(safe)

I actually want to go into integrated farming but i have to start somewhere right? so i have been getting some info about fish farming but i need a form of feasibility study/ detail analysis(prices n cost) for stocking 1000 juveniles to table size, using wooden frame tapoline and a proposal format. Price of juveniles will range frm N20 - N30 depending on who is selling to you and location. Most times you get it for N25 per one.
For feeding: budget N230 per fish till table size.
.Wooden frame tarpaulin pond of 22ft×8ft×3.5ft will take ur 1000 adult fishes (dats d size i use).
You will need a second pond of say 12 ×6×3.5 to sort. With this two ponds, ur fishes will av excess space and will grow really well.
Depending on the type of wood you use for ur wooden pond it will cost u between 60K - 100K (for the big sized pond) for a completed ready to stock tarpaulin pond.
Before you start consider your water source and drainage. Very important.

Hatch indoors and u can slightly warm d water by pouring in hot water before u place in ur fertilized eggs. Becareful so u dnt boil ur eggs oh The warm water needs to be evenly distributed.
If u are in d south west, you shdnt av much issues wt temperature for spawning but try to do it wen u anticipate a sunny day.

Budget abt 250K for ur 1000 fishes.
You dnt need drugs if ur fingerlings are not sick and if u maintain good water mgt.
You can thoroughly wash ur tank and use salt or use Robonski's favourite: Blagdon anti-fungal and anti-bacterial.
