Is that a good sign and optimistic one?
I am anxious and cannot sleep.
Please someone help me.

What will happen after this?

Please I need your direction house ; I want to do my WES evaluation with that of my wife. But a brother will be paying for the WES from abroad while I will be sending our transcript here from Nigeria. My question is how is that possible and should he pay over there first before sending the transcript to WES if the payment can be possible or otherwise.
Secondly is it compulsory or has any added advantage for my wife to actually do her WES , since i will be the principal applicant.
Thanks!

You can register on the website, give the person in Canada access to your application portals to pay on-line. You can take it from there.

There is an additional point for ECA for accompanying spouse. The same goes fr accompanying spouse's language ability test (IELTS).

My brethren please help:

I have been accepted into the Express Entry pool and waiting for the draw as it were...however, I understand I should also apply to the provinces Nominee programmes to up my point.

Please kindly let me know the provinces that still havr their Express Emtry Nominee Programmes still open as I couldnt get a reliable site that treats that.

Someone said that Saskatchewan INP is still running but I read somewhere here that its filled up since January 1?

Thank you

First, what is your overall Score on EE?

The way the additional 600 points from provincial nomination work is,some provinces will select applicants directly from the pool and request the selected applicants to send in application by way of acceptance of the selection to the province. Some other provinces will request that applicants apply directly to them before they can be selected and a condition precedent to this is for such applicants to have an offer of employment from the province.

As it is now,it appears what is clear (for now) is that applicants who choose a particular province will be selected from the pool if and when they meet certain criteria (on the basis of age, language ability, length of foreign/Canadian work experience, overall score on EE,etc)to be established by the province of choice.

It has been hinted that the first few draws will not take cognizance of the additional 600 points. Hence, you need not worry much about the 600 additional points at this stage - Between January 2015 and half way through to February 2015.

If however you are looking beyond the first few draws you have to present your EOI on EE as attractive as possible and another key is to select "All Provinces and Territories" when you are looking at improving your chance of being selected by ALL the provinces and territories as your details will be made available to all the PT (Provinces and Territories) for possibility of selection for additional 600 points. For a fact, before the PT decide to select you from the pool for the award of an additional 600 points, they would want a commitment from you that you will not "abscond" from the PT when you eventually secure a Permanent Residence in Canada.

From the foregoing,it is apparent that :

1. You have to be convinced of your province of destination.

2. You are morally obliged to reside in the PT after selection and eventual issuance of PR.

3. The first few draws will not take cognizance of the additional 600 points.

4. You can make your profile on EE available to ALL PT for possibility of selection and possibility of securing an additional 600 points.

5. You can make your profile available to few PT (by selecting your desired province on EE).

The existing provincial nominee program (PNP) for applicants without (and with) jobs in Canada ( which is called base nominations) is different from the PNP for Express Entry purpose (referred to as enhanced nominations).

What appears to be on-going now for most provinces and territories (PT) is the base nomination, with some provinces such as Saskatchewan reaching the quota for "Without Job offer" are of the base nomination for the year 2015.

Bro Shabbey09, my package reached CIC Halifax around 20 Nov 14. So when they deducted C$550, it has been 2 months since the package was in the hands of CIC.
Fingers crossed and hope for the best.

Hello house, to send updated documents to AVO, which address should I use? Also, is the original copy of PCC to be used or a copy of it?

HELP HELP HELPP !!!!!!!

Hello guys.

Am a fswp 2014 applicant. Already received PER . I am considering marrying my fiancée, but she would be a non-accompanying spouse. I want to get settled first before I bring her in.

What are the processes of bringing a formerly non-accompanying spouse in under a fsw application ?

Do I have to go through a fresh family class application?

Re: Canadian Federal Skilled Worker Program-timelines Here by HenryIX: 2:19pm On Jan 26, 2015
I am a bit confused here. I got an alert from gtb on the 21st Jan 2015 that "the naira equivalent of CAD550.00 has been authorized for the transaction done on CITIZENSHIP & IMM FS SYDNEY CA". Usually, I was supposed to receive another alert informing me of the naira equivalent and the balance on my account but it didn't come.
I went to check my balance at the ATM. There were 2 different balances; Ledger Balance and Available Balance. A closer look at the balances showed that the available balance is my net balance after deducting what was supposed to be the naira equivalent of CAD 550.
I called GTCONNET to find out what was wrong. The officer said the transaction has been authorised but CIC haven't come for settlement. That is why they are holding a lien on my balance. He said they usually allow for 30days, failing which the transaction will be cancelled. He told me to contact CIC to complete the transaction.
Today is 26th and I am yet to receive the alert for the conclusion of the transaction.
I would like to know if anyone is experiencing this too, and how this affects my application

Congrats in advance .
Sometimes ,it may take up to a week or more for it to be cleared.
The most important thing is that CIC has been granted access to remove the cash from your account.
All is well as you're in good hands .
Cheers .

Hello People,

I'm new here. I would like to know if i need to submit more than one credential(BSc & Masters) with WES for verification. Would there be any advantage if i verify the two credentials.

hello house i attented a part time but the certificate is not out. If u want to submit your certificate to wes, is it compulsory to send the photocopy of the certificate to wes? Do they receive notification of result? If wes ask for mode of entry, what will i put since i enter through entrance exam?

Kindly advise on the province where one can settle in Canada. Though, I knew somebody in Ontario but, I want to weigh the options of knowing and not knowing somebody in Canada at all. Thanks.
