I have always maintained my support for President Jonathan because he is a transparent man who every thief want to paint black to look like them.

All the allegations of stolen billions are gradually being led to rest.

Can APC led government allow external auditors look into their affairs as Goodluck has done.

Last word

Our press are a shameful bunch of people for not sensitizing the public of this great injustice on the president.

At least the world need to know that there are a few good Nigerians (Join Goodluck in being a good Nigerian).

It's quite sad really!

Right from when Sanusi first made the accusation in 2013, the usual suspects that have nothing but hate and contempt for GEJ practically went to town on the issue, heaping abuse and curses on the poor mans head......Okonjo-Iweala and Allison-Madueke got their own fair share as well!!

Now the issue has been addressed by a world-renowned audit firm and the major 'suspects' cleared, it's gone all quiet.....you don't hear kpim from them! This is the nature of ethno-religious inspired partisan-politics in this country......giving a dog a bad name in order to hang it!

So the audit firm was fined for the malfeasance of a handful of employees....now tell me which internationally-renowned audit firm the federal gov't should have contracted that would have satisfied you! You do realize that dirt can be found on almost all financial institutions if you dig well enough into their past?

I'm sure the very people that fined them also have the power to withdraw their certificate to practice if the felt they were so compromised to the extent of not being able to audit firms anymore!

In a sane country, the accuse would have stepped down for a transparent probe/investigation. But in my country, the whistle blower was shown the red card while those that were stammering on Channels TV coverage of senate investigation were all left in office.
What do you expect to get from a probe when an accused is left in office while his/her office is under investigation. Do people really expect they will not cover their a$$. Do people really think they will submit documents that will implicate them to PWC? Well, I guess its not only Okupe that has noddles in the head.

In a sane country, Sanusi and the opposition would have been shamed by the media but it is unfortunate, the APC has the Nigerian media in its pocket.

I will seek the opinion of the Nairaland auditor general who works for one of the big four.

You know yourself, you better come here and dissect/analyse the report findings before janjarats like ChinemeOkpan, kororugged, eye4eye, jakpon, ihejerikaisboko etc start saying you were given $25billion bribe. smiley smiley

Hypocrisy and the media in Nigeria go hand in hand.

I feel sorry for some of our brothers in the South West who have allowed their conscience to become a merchandise for their sleazy paymasters.

Jonathan's single sin is to have originated from the "wrong" part of the country hence the witch-hunt to scuttle his noble intentions for Nigeria.

In this country of ironies, it is no longer novel to see the grandfathers, fathers, progenies and indeed the proteges of corruption take to the high moral ground to mouth highfallutin about corruption.

This country needs help.
