Its quite simple, email the embassy the last statement the bank sent to you that is if you still have your 8k intact. If not argument your account with some euros to have a statement showing a balance of 8k euros. An email from you showing your balance will do.

I sent them a copy of the statement that was sent last year but they said they needed one that is not more than a month old. That is, a new one. I have tried contacting the bank via the form on their website for international students and block account but they are yet to get back to me so I was wondering if anybody had a similar challenge in the past and could offer a more better solution like a direct email that they check quite often so as to get a swift response.

Thanks

I have been too busy to attempt an answer myself. However, you have already done the needful by reaching them through the contact form. It takes time for them to respond. Their customer service in that sector really sucks. They will surely respond but the timing is another matter. However, here is my opinion, why not attempt to transfer like 20-50 euros into the account, so doing, you will surely receive notification of your transaction faster and thus the full details of the account statement, with that, you are in business.

Oga, which course and school?

For the records, you are to certify all your documents and not translate. you are required to translate if and only if your results/certificates are not in english or german.

Also, are you applying through Uni-assist or online portal

regards !

Means your University 100 level result/transcript

Attested can also be referred to as true copy with stamps and signature.

Alles Gute !

Good evening wonderful people. Been a while and hope y'all enjoyed your valentine wink wink

Anyone here undergoing a Masters program in Universitaet Bonn? I have a serious issue here. The application is online and they insist the transcript must be converted to the ECTS system or my application will be rejected, which my frustratingly useless school said is impossible sad. I don't know if anyone here can help with any (official) document from anywhere explaining the credit system in Nigeria.

Also, my HOD from the same frustratingly useless school has blatantly told me he is not giving me any letter stating the language of instruction (an alternative to the language tests). Does anyone know any walk-around to this (excluding taking the TOEFL and IELTS tests)?
Please I need your urgent replies as deadlines are approaching.

Thanks.

@ williamso for the language of instruction , you can be issued a certificate at the ministry iof education but it will cost you nothing less than 10k

The name of the school is Hochschule Mannheim. I'm going for power engineering and renewable energies. I'm also going through online portal.

Concerning certification, how should I go about it and where can I get it done. If there is a price tag on it,kindly inform me as well.

Is that not for Australian visa?
German schools do not recognise that at all. IELTS, TOEFL or Cambridge.
some schools exempt students who offered English taught Bsc programmes.
Please can you name some universities in Germany that exempt TOEFL for Nigeria students.

Thanks

Habahhhhh ! It hav tey oooooooo.
Guys sorry for the leave of absence.

Ok I will check.

My simple advice is this, for those interested to make applications this year.
1) Spend time browsing the net, and daad website for your choice course and university.

2) Take ur time and browse through ur choice university's website. Please pay attention to details and salient info. Some school's programmes may have hidden opportunities.
Only the dedicated and diligent ones will see it.

3) Review the application requirements. Start now to gather what u don't have ready for the application. For e.g apply for transcripts, make photocopies of your documents, deadlines etc.

4) I strongly advice you start writing ur motivation letter. Ensure u finish it like in the 1st week of feb. Between feb and when u submit ur application, u have ample time to review, correct and repackage ur Mletter. By so doing u Mletter will be 100%.

5) There is nothing wrong to start saving for ur applications. There is nothing wrong in having a small save box, like those days of 1991 and co, put money in the box always.
By the time u will be ready to submit ur applications, u will be surprised how much u have. The truth is, some persons might not be fortunate to have money at hand, when its time to pay UNI-assist and this may cause delay. So to avoid this plan, budget and save.

6) Nothing stops u from sending ur applications now,if andd only if u are ready. I hope u know that? But if u are not ready, don't panic, applications are received until JUNE 15 for most schools. But be warned some application deadlines are earlier say April or May even March.
But if u have done (2) & (3), u won't have any problems.

7) Use all forms or reminders to remind u of deadlines. U can involve that ur little sis that never forgets dates.

coolBefore u ask questions, do at least 1,2,3 above.
Please I want to communicate with you privately

I intend doing my masters in any of the Germany university

I don't know how possible it is for me to secure admission

I graduated with 2.5 cgpa in my undergraduate and am going for MBA program

Can I get admission

Yeah, I think Hoschule Mannheim has an inbuilt application management system.
However, you'll need to download the application form, together with your original and photocopy of your certifcates/documents. proceed to the embassy to certify your documents.

or better still you can use an High court closer to you.
If you are in lagos, you can try the one at Igbosere (information from a trusted member here)

Approach your departmental secretary, try tipping him/her explaining why you need such and its importance.

He may help you with it.

or better still, go to the ministry of education to get a proficiency certificate.

Secure admission into MBA program

I hope you know the tuition fees that goes with most MBA programme in germany.

2.5 may be enough to get you admission. but can you keep up with the tuition?? knowing fully well that most schools in germany are tuition free.

Guy, try another alternative. honestly speaking, you have few chances of gaining admission into M.sc course in germany most especially Sciences/Engineering course.

My cousin is in berlin so I will be staying alone.wouldnt kindergarten help?Heard their time is 7 to 5pm.Thanks

To be honest...it will be better if you leave your kids with your mum or relative....Like a poster said earlier on .."Education here nor be beans"...mind you you re using a sponsorship letter..its almost impossible...your living cost is 8k per yr and for every dependant ca.4k euros thats 16k in total so your sponsor needs to ve a very good job(its a tight one my sis) even if he has a good job they still ve to factor in his cost of living and check for disposable income after his expenses..and the question then will be will the disposable income be enough for you and your kids?

Then the issue of life style come in...no mama Joe to look pikin if you go class o..I ve been living in my apartment for 6mths i dont even know my next door neighbour...what I am tryin to say is this ....it will be tough

IMHO..try to see if you can leave your kids with your mum or relative if not..continue your msc in nigeria (if i understand you properly) then come to germany when for phd....at least by then you did be on stipends and can afford kindergarten.

In all...follow your heart.

Good day!
