Thank you. I want to go to the ministry of education in my city, Aba, Abia state,to get a document certifying that I was trained with the English language instead of using Toefl. What is your advice?

Do you have 100 Level university result,

cos your WAEC result alone may not grant you admission

Be guided !

Good evening wonderful people. Been a while and hope y'all enjoyed your valentine wink wink

Anyone here undergoing a Masters program in Universitaet Bonn? I have a serious issue here. The application is online and they insist the transcript must be converted to the ECTS system or my application will be rejected, which my frustratingly useless school said is impossible sad. I don't know if anyone here can help with any (official) document from anywhere explaining the credit system in Nigeria.

Also, my HOD from the same frustratingly useless school has blatantly told me he is not giving me any letter stating the language of instruction (an alternative to the language tests). Does anyone know any walk-around to this (excluding taking the TOEFL and IELTS tests)?
Please I need your urgent replies as deadlines are approaching.

Thanks.

lol . I feel or pain bro.
had same complaints from my frustratingly useless school.
even had to go to the exams and records of my mumu scgool where it cost me 1k. per language of instruction doc issued
applied for 4 L of instruction since December. till now no show.
I just vwx go write ielts make dem enemies of progress. carry their wahala De go.

go. to your exams and records. they also issue. l. of. I

To be honest...it will be better if you leave your kids with your mum or relative....Like a poster said earlier on .."Education here nor be beans"...mind you you re using a sponsorship letter..its almost impossible...your living cost is 8k per yr and for every dependant ca.4k euros thats 16k in total so your sponsor needs to ve a very good job(its a tight one my sis) even if he has a good job they still ve to factor in his cost of living and check for disposable income after his expenses..and the question then will be will the disposable income be enough for you and your kids?

Then the issue of life style come in...no mama Joe to look pikin if you go class o..I ve been living in my apartment for 6mths i dont even know my next door neighbour...what I am tryin to say is this ....it will be tough

IMHO..try to see if you can leave your kids with your mum or relative if not..continue your msc in nigeria (if i understand you properly) then come to germany when for phd....at least by then you did be on stipends and can afford kindergarten.

In all...follow your heart.

Good day!

Thanks ma

If you are going for undergraduate course, I will just implore you to write IELTS/TOEF. The letter you are looking for might not suffice since the school will receive so many applications and pick those with the best requirements. Also in some schools, ielts/toefl will earn you point in selection criteria. But if it is Msc, then you may try and get the letter and even with that, it depends on the school.Just my own opinion. Shalom

Without an international passport, it is simple 100% impossible for u to write ielts as ur passport no will be ur exam and I.d no. Ielts is around 38k for now but without a passport, u can't even register online, so go and get ur passport ist of all as that is d ist step in travelling out. Even some school u apply to will ask for ur passport no and I.d page

My sis, I will truthfully advice u not to bring one kid not to talk of two kids for an MSc program in Germany on a sponsorship letter biko. Even if u use a block act, d 8040 will not b enuf for u and one kid not to talk of two and since u are using a sponsor, do u think ur broda will b sending u money monthly for upkeep? My knowledge of German sponsors who give letter is dat wen u land, dey simply forget abt u saying dey av done dia part to get u here. Do u think u can school work and takia of two kids as a student in Germany? My honest answer is a capital noooo. Mind u, no one will babysit for u in Germany oo, u might not even see ur next door Nebor for weeks.

I will strongly advice u to drop ur kids with ur mum as I even doubt if d embassy will give d 3 of u visa on a student sponsorship letter once dey see d income and responsibilities of ur sponsor and even if dey reluctantly do, my sis it is a risk not worth taking.

My guy stop behaving like someone wey no go school, how do u intend to do any international exam without an international passport. So how do u want dem to identify ur identity, via ur inec PVC or bank ATM card? Name d exam from GRE to TOEFL to ielts to GMAT, no passport, no exam its as simple as ABC.

I don't work with immigration so I don't know price of passport anywhere. Plz don't ask this question again, its frustrating as a graduate

hehehehe@nevilebot

I think the official price ranges between 18-20K for all the necessary cost but you will wait a while to get it but if you want it instantly same day which I would recommend, budget like 25-27k for it. The passport offices in Lagos are at Festac, Alausa and Ikoyi.

lmu and their exam, i applied to that sch once and i was asked to tell them the goethe institute close by as venue for the exam and also a copy of past questions was sent which included some courses i have never done before but the date of the exam was not stated,i was replied two days to the scheduled exam and i was told they were sorry for the short notice but that was the available date goethe institute in lagos gave them and i'm meant to pay 50 euros at goethe, quickly i changed my mind and told them i cant write that exam cos nigeria is not a small country,i am hundreds of kilometers away from lagos and 2 days cannot be enough for me

Maybe it is for the course you chose, but Nigeria is exempt for mine. But that's not my concern.

I'm also a prospective Masters student. Did you use the online application system?

There is no harm in trying. Get your documents ready and send them to as many schools as possible.
