The person you corrected was wrong just same way you were. Radiography and biopsy have nothing to do with dialysis. Don't try to zigmarole yourself out of your error. Dialysis is used to cater for the functions of the kidney during kidney failures. Patients are only refered for radiography after long stints of dialysis to check if there are complications resulting from contents of the administration.

FMC Owerri is also well -equipped. What other difficulty could people in Imo state go through regarding availability of these health machines? Mind u the machines are usually for medical referrals -last resort treatment, not day-clinic machines.

Or you just want MRI, CT Scan, Dialysis machines, Mammogram machines, etc. etc. to be duplicated and kept just like that by IMSG in Umuguma, why?

Umuguma is not 20 mins from IMSUTH unless you have a death wish and are oblivious of the IMSUTH road.

The machines are not for referrals mainly but for routine medical care and emergencies.

FMC owerri has only 18 beds in the accident and emergency. currently, no other government or state hospital is working in owerri. 18 beds for all medical and surgical cases for the whole town. I tried to seek admission for a friend there and I was told no bed space. the choice I had was to wait for someone else to die or be moved to the ward for a patient to get a bed. the other option was to go to orlu. that's like moving from ikorodu to Badagry for medical treatment. we decided to wait. finally secured a bed; didn't care if the prior patient died in it. considering that no other hospital was competent enough to treat my friend in owerri, we were glad waiting for the treatment.
