Chio!!! I believe in giving the masses hope but founded on facts. Facts that when you put in the time variable it will become reality. What is going on currently is just a facade to get cash out of the government as milestone achieved. You wouldn't blame the minister cuz he's speaking out from a document presented to him.


Yet to come up. Egbema isn't connected to gas or the turbine near commissioning. Gbaran is yet to power up; no gas. Alaoji is receiving gas and I think one turbine is firing now( will confirm later).

Talking of which, commissioning is not laying bricks or cutting ribbons. It has to do with a systematic powering of individual component. It's a sequence, not some generator with a key.

Majority of the major players in PDP between 1999 and 2010 are the promoters and movers of APC, including the President and Vice of 1999-07, the 3 Former PDP National Chairmen, National PDP Secretaries etc. Abeg no even go there!!! Meanwhile, Sen Danjuma Goje was the Minister of state for Power during Obj's first term, he's now an APC strongman. We should ask him to explain about this Egbema power issue.

This actually promoted this write-up. Currently am in Egbema working as an site engineer so I must confess our youths, especially youths from Abacheke, Mmahu, Obiakpu in fact the youths in Egbema have misplaced priority. These guys are busy terrorizing my life while they let go of the bigger picture; seeing that the combined cycle plant, first developmental project comes alive in their time. Right before them this project is ridiculed with high level bureaucracy and corruption.

Few facts;
No source of gas from the three original producers; ADDAX, SHELL, NPDC.
Turbine at the current state will take two yrs to come online if the contractor stops playing........ Watch the drama in the pictures. The buildings here are painted on the outside while the inner part tells a different story. Same thing in the turbine also, shell no juice. So I await your questions and pls someone should tell these youths to go after this game changer.

Four journalists with LEADERSHIP Newspapers have been detained at the Force Headquarters, Abuja, on the orders of President Goodluck Jonathan.

Can you look at the list of those who were incharge when this plant was commissioned and tell me where they are now?....They are all in APC now and they are your new brides and promoters of Buhari presidential ambition...GEJ just shrugged all of them off hence he's bound to move faster development-wise while buhari just accumulated all the baggage and burdens of Nigeria... Mr AkaGum please PM me as we could be sitting side by side in one office. If only these Nairalanders know the rot in the power sector and how unserious this government is in tackling it. Jonathan is an error to the Nigerian project. A father that steals meat from the pot will never have any moral justification to stop the child he met in the kitchen trying to do same.
