@all , pls I noticed that tempers have flared up since d last payment was made. We should not resort to insult and abuse in settling our differences...we have bin very helpful to each other, let kip helping ourselves. It's has come to d point dat someone will ask questions and no one is responding anymore...dis where we find ourselves now, no one knows what d future holds for each and everyone of us. For all us dat hav not bin paid,challenges come in different phases, we should encourage each other and have it at d back of our mind that........dis too shall pass!
Secondly...there are people sniffing around trying to gain d attention of youths for political propaganda, pls don't listen to them...don't let dem use you for their selfish interest, some hav approached me..am not going to give d details here.

Lastly...i read an excerpt from one of our daily tabloid written by a librarian he has this to say to Nigerians ... I am just paraphrasing'' I pity you Nigerians...your case is just another issue of you don't know what's you have, until you lose it. Don't let your leaders destroy vestige peace you hav bin enjoying, cos if it all changes to a state of chaos, they will all took to their heels, you are all responsible for creating a serene environment for peace to reign....so that you don't end up like those war plagued countries'' cant remember d rest.

I want to disclose an observation about this GIS matching issue. I think its either the GIS employees are fraudulent or the federal government is really embezzling the SURE-P money.
I was matched at the Lagos job fair last year December, and up until now my status in my GIS accounts reads unmatched. They instructed us not to start work until we have been matched, but my employer pleaded with me and the other interns to start work hoping we will be matched and promising us additional stipend. I have tried severally to get matched and have even sought the help of @puntersmind but to no avail. Where I have discovered that all this is fraudulent is, an inspector for GIS came to our company to carry out the normal inspection. So my questions are:
1. If we have not being matched, how come an inspector from GIS came to inspect us even showing us our details in a form containing lists of companies that are to be inspected, does this not mean we have being matched?
2.For an inspector to come inspect that means in their record or database or whatever, it shows we are being employed and working, so why has our status on the GIS portal not changed to employed?
3 If they warned us not to start working before being matched, then why come to inspect us when we have not being matched?
4. He came to inspect us in the early part of the month of February. He promised us that we will be matched ASAP and even promised that our January and February stipend will be paid in arrears. We are now in the month of March and nothing has changed. So, how will GIS have proof that we have being working and then pay us in arrears?
5. In the first place an inspector isn't suppose to go inspect interns that are according to them not working, so doesn't this mean they have data showing that we are working?
6. If they have data showing that we working that means they should have data showing that we are being payed. Right or Right?
7. Where is the money?

So my people, nothing more can be said than to conclude that SURE-P money is being embezzled. Now I believe what Governor Fashola said about SURE-P. I wonder what APC would do with a discovery like this. Talk about youths not wanting to vote for a government that is this corrupt. I give up on this SURE-P thing and PDP and Jonathan and in fact the government. I'm so pained mehn!

The problem with providing little assistance to people in this country is that people often abuse privileges. I decided to go on the last round of matching but so many of you are abusing the opportunity. I dread making it open for everyone to send Matching/Rematching information because it leads to a lot of headache. So many of you go about on the streets (perhaps) looking for people with Matching/Rematching issues and bomb my email with these requests. I only engaged to help people on this thread but so many of you are scurrying everywhere to send me Matching/Rematching issues . Also, I clearly stated the information I would require for Matching/Rematching, but most of you send me incomplete information and I'd have to go through the pains of replying your emails to demand for extra information. Henceforth, in such cases, I will simply ignore such emails. Some persons just ask me irrelevant questions that have been tackled here several times. Some ask questions like: When am I going to be paid? Huh, I am not SURE-P GIS! Furthermore, If I have already started a correspondence with you, why send me an email on a fresh page and leave me wondering what issue you are referring to? Why don't you just reply my previous mail, so that I could re-freshen my memory of your issue, by just going through previous correspondence. Finally, In the last 2 days, I've had to reply to over 100 emails, this is torture. I do not have time for all that. I will state it here for the first time, be responsible in your requests. I really want to help but don't abuse the process because you wouldn't want to experience my typical day. Have a nice day peeps. One love.

I suppose there's ONLY one answer to all the points you raised and one does not have to be incredibly smart to see through it all. The company you are NOW with is NOT YET approved by SureP. Sure, they may be in the process of being approved which was why inspectors came over to look them over but they are not there yet.

Furthermore, it is very likely that once they get that paper-approval, SureP can validate and back-date your matching with that company at which time your status will change on their website. However, it looks like the company is just using you meanwhile. I believe they should give you something to get by with while the impasse is being resolved. Sadly, all these employers want free labour and they do nothing or little with regards to welfare of interns. Most of them end up collecting money from the interns on a monthly basis. PATIENCE may do you some good. Accept my sympathy

@erickatchy yes are right. but if a company has not yet been approved, how come they make it to the job fair? the fault started with sure-p GIS. and yes every company wants cheap labour and every unemployed youth gets desperate for a job, so they quickly took advantage of the scheme. but if things were done properly by sure_p gis, like approving companies before coming to the job fair, then issues like these may not arise.
