@nefertitiram, several factors can cause d discrepancy, 1)error frm d dr(we re all humans)
2)big baby.
3)twins(u ve ruled dat out)
4)polyhydramnios(plenty amniotic fluid, scan wld hv pointed this out)
5)increased abdominal fat and possibly fibroid.
Bt i dont think u shld worry much. Eat healthy(nt for 2), and tk ur drugs.
@euphorbia. pcv is nt done routinely. It s done at first visit to hv a baseline, then after delivery(in govt hospitals). Bt if u re feeling dizzy and unusually weak, u may request for it.

E pele mama...lemon squeezed in cold water is another good one...how far gone are you? If u r in ur first trimester, hold on...all will disappear in second trimester. I'm not sure anyone vomited like me..choi! I cringe thinking abt it now. But look at me now..glowing, happy and advising you..hehehe

You know, the one written by Jackie Mize. The e-book was passed around by one mama sometimes ago.

I'd really love to hear such testimony....if no one has experienced it then maybe it's time we held God to his words...

I totally forgot about the ebook during my first trimester and I was so ill. But as soon as DH reminded me, and he printed it out for me, and I started reading, it's been wonderful...

Nothing special o. I went to hospital 11th of March. I was booked fir 12pm. 8.am I don reach hosp. Anxiety wan finish me.
Beingbin d theatre was scary. Tor after d anaesthesia e no reach 2 mins I hear my baby cry. Meanwhile I was reacting badly nd had one killer head ache. De did sth abt it. De took me out less dan 20mins. Dunno how de did it o. D pain meds were nt working well. Nd cos of my ulcer de cld nt give me a stronger one. I had to b enduring intense pain. I cld nt even loook at my cute princess.
My husb nd mum were just crying nd calling nd jubilating while I was in pains. Praise God for me. He has removed shame from myeyes.
Na breast milk be the problem now

It is special,na pikin we dey talk about ooo, no be shigidi or doll baby, your mama and dh know why they are jubiliating.
Once the aches and pain don waka,you'll see how the love for the lil princess will hold you hostage. We thank God for his many mercies.
As for the milk,tell grandma to get a clean towel and warm water:massage the boobies from the cleavage to the areola with firm hands..it will be painful(full disclosure) but within a couple of attempts you'll see it flowing.. If the cutie cooperates,after each massage,coax her to do a bit of sucking.
