This had been a long seemingly never-ending argument back then in secondary school. However, the surpassing notion was that if a science student resorted to being an art student he would be more intelligent than the-normal-art-student.

The reason we had was that it is arbitrary normal for science students to have higher IQ than art students, so the brain a science would be using for Art would definitely be more intellingently complex compared to the-normal-art-student.

Science students makes the world easy for us through new technologies, art students shows us the beauty of the world, social science students are at the receiving end, they enjoy the works of art, enjoy the technology and employs both the science and art students.

A serious Arts student reads/studies more than an average Science student. At the end of the day, different strokes for different folks. I had a friend back then who opted for Art department because he thought it was easier there, I'm not sure if he made his WAEC already but the last time I checked he was about to rewrite it for the umpteenth time.
