ThaProphet:you have spoken well, buh would u say they weren't smart enof to document all these. People do not take Columbus to be a black man any longer, we once ruled, buh were unable to make impact in our land let alone in the world. So whr are the evidences tha we once ruled. If after every every, the white takes the glory, africa has become a dustbin, whr worthless stuff are thrown.. Nd I do not think the white visited benin kingdom by foot. they created sometin tha made the world applauded them... |

We were too busy buying in/spending all our time and money in the white man's religion. Buying into their ideas of "divide and conquer. Until we think collectively as a people and not be shouting out "The igbos diid..." "The yurubas are...", maybe we can move forward. WAKE UP! |

Nigerians love living in denial. Your ancestors were not developing like the rest of the world. Accept the fact and move on. Your background doesn't have to determine your future. 3 Likes |

And Africa is still under developing as a result 90% percent of them being Muslims and Christians. Every child born into an African home is certain to be brainwashed into Religious slavery. There goes the possibilities of Africans becoming world beaters. |

xpac01:story! You have best brains yet Europe played smartness, what lies the essence of your best brains if you can still be deceived? A sound book by Walter Rodney though, but sir dont be fooled by everything you see on printed pages. Civilization definitely started from somewhere before spreading the world over. It thus started from Africa but that was centuries long ago. |

frankmoney: We were simply mining and ploughing our lands for the colonial masters. The colonial era, unnecessary civil wars, coups and bad governance really pegged Africa's development back. |

When you are taling about the Africa that ruled to world. You should be specific and stick to facts not the disputable ones. Besides you will.be referring to Egypt and some parts of East Africa. So the question should have been ‘where was West and South Africa' If you wanna blame anything blame the two religions. It gave other part of the world an edge over us |

Well two things can happen here: One: We can argue about the past which will end up with the usual rubbish of blaming it all on the whites OR pretending Africa is more advanced in juju (did you see about the guy FLYING to the USA and back in a night - obviously high on something). Instead of making excuses about the past why not worry about what is holding it back NOW! Get rid of corruption and superstition! Then Africa will take its rightful place as an equal to all others in the world! 2 Likes |

frankmoney:When fools with lazy arse can not spend time and effort to research and investigate sh1t out like the likes of me have done for years and are still doing, they come here to ask sh1tty questions in order to arouse self-hatred. Your question isn't really a question, it is a presentation that presumes to assert a Eurocentric belief system which you've been fed since infancy like the majority of Africans on this platform. Forumites who knows sh1t shouldn't fuel this guy's intention to provoke unnecessary racial-like arguments. If he's unable to go conduct research on his own for he knows not where to begin, sources and books can be recommended to him. Go read How Europe Underdeveloped Africa like someone suggested, go read The Lost Science of Africa, go read God Is Black by Naiwo Osahon, go read all of Cheikh Antah Diop's books and in the meantime you may begin with the following thread to clear some incorrect notions troubling your thoughts. thread 1 thread 2 While you at it, let me get back to writing my critical response to the propaganda film Exodus: Gods and Kings' 3 Likes 1 Share |

The Nile valley civilization was the oldest civilization in the history of the world, the Medu Neter was the earliest recorded language, spoken by the people of Kemit {Africa}. The Europeans are a new race on these planet, they basically raped and plundered their way to the top, I doubt if they have been around more than 6000 years, while Africans have been on these planet for millions of years. 1 Like |
