He definately knows that the smart card reader might not work in every location, but when he was been interviewed about what if the card reader not working, wont it set the nation ablaze? he simply said we have other options but you dont expect me to say it to the public.
He made sure that all the pvcs that were not collected were returned to the inec offices and secured.
He knew That the implication of not using SCR with pvc is that, all non collected PVC might be hicjaked by the desperate politicians to make way for massive rigging.
So if card smart reader is not used?
Those that couldnt get their pvc worked with SCR only need photo and confirmation from their facial appearance like most people did,( which is the plan B ,He never said).
Besides, he made sure all results are signed ,announced, and counted from each polling unit in the presence of those who voted, and copy of result sheets given to each party reps, then carry the figures to the ward, and LG, then state (from bottom -up..).There by reducing frauds unlike before that results were only carried to LG headquaters where all magomago might have taken place. The only hitches i noticed from inec is that they should have prepared pvc and distributed it earlier than expected. Every other thing is ok by me.[/b]
