In addition, your attitude towards it might have been snobbish to your superior. Even though she made the request when she had no right to, you could have humbly declined or found some other reason to decline her request. That way, the fault would not lie on you in anyway. By your attitude, based on what I read from your post, she can place a claim against you for insolence as her reason for firing you.
