I believe this fetish brute called oba akiolu can make that statement. He is known to be one of tinubu's lap dogs. Tinubu just wants absolute power by all mean. Let someone remind him that he cant live forever

Can you see why I said women should never be allowed to hold sensitive position now due to poor judgement and decision making? You don't understand politics, do you?

This is a great opportunity for Lagos to enjoy a lot of goodies from the center by aligning with it for soft landing - why go against the grain by even contemplating voting for the opposition party?

You lot shouldn't mess things up for Lagos, else we shall extend the seven days ultimatum to women as well loool. Jk jk

The King is pissed looooool.

I beg to disagree..... There would rather be competition between the state and federal on what and best way to deliver the dividends of democracy to people of Lagos against the next election. So how else do they want to show off if they don't perform at the Federal level?

One of the reasons I love APC is because they don't mopped around....... Immediately they lose out, they have started preparing for the next election by showing off to people what they missed by not voting them.

Thank God, they are not basing their campaign solely on this.

It is one Nigeria.
If Buhari can be President of Nigeria and President of Igbos against their wishes and they took it in good faith, the Oba should accept whatever result comes out of the gubernatorial elections.
If Agbaje wins, it won't be because of Igbo votes alone, a substantial number of Yorubas, Hausas and others in Lagos must have voted him.
If the Oba is tired of one Nigeria and doesn't even want to give Buhari the chance to enjoy his victory, he should try rubbish.
I too don't get the hysteria. if agabje were to win, it definitely won't be because only the igbos voted him.a substantial number of yorubas and other Lagosians would have contributed their votes too..unless they are trying to say igbos alone have the voting numbers to enthrone a governor in alausa?

Last week, Ambode and Osinbajo were in Alaba market canvassing for votes, you're in your palace rubbishing their efforts. Oba, Igbos can not

be intimidated, It seems you want Ambode to lose because this your so called riot act would make more of them to vote for Jimi Agbaje, Akiolu

should be told that Igbos don't accept the language of threat.
Only reasonable comment av seen all day

This is what happens when you make an egunje collecting petty police man your oba. Who is this unknown quantity? If a stewpid Akiolu wants Lagos to boil, he should go ahead and try nonsense. Touts dressed in some royal regalia. Empty threats won't fly. APC must be forced to feel the heat for all the Tinubu/fashola anti igbo policies come election day. Heavy taxes, heavy toles, deportations and intimidations in market places. Those are APCs legacies against the igbo in Lagos. It is payback time. Oba Akiolu should stop throwing tantrums and face the issues.
Certainly if this statement is from the Oba,i must admit he goofed on this. This will not help Apc in any way and may lead to negative ripple effects in other states.
That's that.
Are you implying only Ibos pay tax in lagos? Do you know how much tax I pay monthly? Any policy of the Government does not discriminate tribe. Except when they give indigens preference in lagos institutions, and the affects all yorubas too.
I'm from Osun but born in lagos. You don't vote in protest. You vote by weighing the benefits of the outcome. And now, it would pay lagos to be an Apc state taking Nigeria's politics into account.
That's what the Oba should preach. And I think since lagosians have been good host so far... Non-indegins should reciprocate. I don't think the calibre of people around Jimi means well. Tinubu may be corrupt but I think by now he has had enough and will have his day of reckoning. Let's not bring in hungry wolves again.

Logical answer.
Logical indeed. Has Lagos state not been collecting oil revenue? You guys should tread carefully. Stop the war mongering. It would literally 'kill' Lagos.
This is democracy. PDP have accepted their loss in good faith, so should APC, if they lose Lagos state.

Let there be peace.

**grins** Now with the power bestowed on me as a Scion of Alusi Ogwugwu n'ama Igbo. As the holder of Igrigi na'akpa ike title. I hereby place a curse on any Igbo man who bows to this threat on the Igbo nation. Nobody, I repeat nobody threatens the Igboman.
If you are an Igboman and thumbrint for the Ambode in Lagos, may you never be successful with that finger.

Those Igbos who have no investment in Aligbo i pity your generation. This country is will disintergrate and YOU WILL go hungry. The signs are there but you won't just heed. I really pity you. My sympathy in advance.
Thanks you and God bless you. With this Islam man call Buhari, a very wicked man who kills women during his time will bring about the division of this country. How on earth can an Oba say all these. This is the highest degree of hate for other. So what is the need staying together? But I will ever remember GEJ and am sure God will vindicate hims. He has indeed finished his assignment. So if Nigerians want the way of these swears and high degree of bad wishes and hate, we are waitihg.

tongue tongue. I wanted to vote Ambode but because of this threat which I find challenging I will put the Oba's theory to test by voting Jimi Agbaje of the PDP. Let me see how millions will die by one man's word. Nonsense.

Nigeria has been turned into a jungle where diplomacy has ceased to exist. A traditional ruler is all but meant to be non-partisan. If he indeed made such utterances then it is unfortunate. It is also wrong for Igbos to keep boasting about installing a governor of Lagos in connivance with PDP. It would have been best to keep quiet and vote their choice on the election day.
May ur wisdom increase.

Please, use your PVC to shut the mouth of the Oba.
APC want change, change they must get.
Surely. They cannot change the east with their Yoruba-Hausa coalition and expect different result even in their domain. What kind of useless harassment is this? He should be utterly embarrassed come 11th. This is a democracy, not a monarchy for Christ's sake. The constitution guarantees freedom of association, voting your choice inclusive.
