Nice Move Kudos to the group that chose to fight for the masses Hopefully the court will rule in favour of the pay per view as it is currently been done in South Africa They should stop using us as moneybags |

kamez: Let us see what becomes of this. DSTV disconnected my account 2 days ago without any prior notice or apologies; this is spite of the fact that my subscription is still active. Calls to their Customer Call Center were not picked, mails were not responded to even tweets were ignored! I am really pissed off with them! |

Though it happens to be the company that once gave me livelihood, I still have to accept that the rates are too exorbitant. Our national assembly should be the once taking this up for Nigerians and debating it on the floor of the assembly. |

That's why I dislike most South African companies in Naija. They derive so much pleasure in milking us dry cos mumu like us will still patronise them. mtschewww! |

DSTv has been exploiting us from time immemorial. I sometimes forget that NBC does not only stand for Nigerian Bottling Company. I think NBC has lost its regulatory function. After the expiration of my last subscription on DSTv; I have placed my decoder, LNB cable and the dish for sale on OLX. Thinking of buying a binatone antenna. After all na only Channels TV I dey watch. 2 Likes |

Adesiji77: Sorry about that, it may be as a result of system error. If you are sure ur subscription is still active, this is what to do; text msg type RA followed by ur 10 digits card no. And send to 30333. Example : RA 1234567890 send to 30333. Hope u get ur services soon. Note: Ur decoder must be "ON" before using this method. Keep it tuned to Africa magic channel 154. |

I love what the men did, I have actually told DSTV that I will rather change to Startimes,if star times could come down to 600naira per month, while DSTV has decided to increase theirs, this is too funny to me.They are even richer than Star times. It is high time we let these South African companies know that this is our country. |

Omololu007: Haba... How can u say that? They are colluding with multichoices and cable services providers to suck Nigerians dry. They have strangled d likes of hitv, daarsat, and others just to give DSTV an advantage after collecting billions of naira from multichoice. Buhari and Osibanjo will jail all of them. Evul men everywhere.. |

Silly people. Is price control the way to go in.a liberal, free market democracy such as ours. It is a stupid as trade union strikes over salary increases while ignoring the more worthy issues of inflation and its root causes such that you have a strike every six months to maintain a level standard of living. What should have be done was the protection of an industry from monopolistic tendencies of individual companies by appropriate anti-trust laws. GoTv should never have been allowed to.set sail. That is a litigation worthy venture. The various underhand marketing strategies of Multi-Choice aimed at squeezing out all competition over the years should have ended in court. Now that the chimpanzee has grown into a 300 pound gorilla you want to wrestle it. You better leave them alone. The pricing regime that you should fear is the one that lowers prices to such a ridiculous amount all aimed at rail-roading competition than the one that raises prices to such a ridiculously high level. Because the markets will soon offer Multi-Choice a stern lesson when high prices attract the competition it doesn't want, just as high, sustained international oil prices are ALWAYS followed by a crash. For me it is better. 2 Likes |

Filmewell: Are you joking. That is the 'black economy' everyone is involved in. Sorry, that sub-section of corruption is 'inaccessible' by the law. An attempt to change it is akin to deleting the 'system files' of the computer controlling Nigeria. You surely wouldn't do that would you. |
