All these judges are dafts and half baked. How could u grant an other that cannot stand the test of time if scrutinized by a superior court? The judge has no business granting an order that deprives people of their fundamental right to fair hearing. It is only a half baked judge that would grant a senseless order as the one that bars any new litigant on the issue. U cannot force people to participate in a class action lawsuit. It is their prerogative to decide whether to join a class action suit or not. Whoever does not want to join has the fundamental right to bring a separate lawsuit against multichoice. That order could be easily challenged in the superior court and got dismissed. It is very apparent that the judge does not know his onions when it cones to legal jurisprudence. It's a sad tale on our judiciary. 3 Likes |

Dstv should give the Pay-per-view option, its the way to go in Nigeria. The exploitation is too much. If they introduce this, I'm very sure they would have more customers and be able to checkmate the viewing centres because we would be watching it in the comfort of our houses. Before you can enjoy Dstv, you must subscribe at least 7k (aside money for fuel). Government (Buhari) should sanction them because he's (the rich and the poor) also affected. God bless Nigeria |

i dont blame them at all, did they force you subscribe? althought their tarrif is high if u cant afford buy STRONG SATELITE. dstv is only doing this because of the huge depency we nigerians show on their service. 1 Like |

I dont understand when Dstv became a necessity and what grounds a law court has to dictate to a luxury goods provider how much to charge for thier goods. 3 Likes |

I owe the duo a peck. They've won my admiration. Good move. DStv has become so arrogant over the years and making Nigerians to pay with their blood for programmes not watched. Maybe they are affiliated to PHCN. |

the lawyers are going to be bribed, the solution is get an alternative, if you're in ph buy metro, there are more football channels, they show new movies on metro, not like dstv that repeats like their lives depend on it, and not those Useless supersport channels that show south African league. |

Tah, this is nigeria, just like ncc they can not influence the stand of these thieving companies. This is just an avenue to fight for their own pockets. Because if they where realy doing their jobs the subscription rate wouldnt have been as high as it is. |

You folks are just making noise. The only authorised cable TV to air the english premiership in Africa is DSTV and I don't see any cable network in Nigeria having such an amount to pay the FA. Remember what happened to Hitv! 1 Like |

I am totally in support of this suit and to show my support, I have deliberately refused to renew my subscription for this month of April. Even though my wife pleaded with me to renew because of the various soap operas she enjoys watching. Not watching DStv will not kill anybody. Besides, local stations like Channels, STV, TVC and ONtv can still entertain the family. I wish 80% of Nigerians will also cancel their subscription to DStv, to better drive home our anger. Rather than, just complain about it but yet renew their subscription. 1 Like
