I agree with Halo.

Halo 2 I had on my beautiful loyal Xbox. Still working too. Me and my brothers would scream and laugh and shout and jump around when playing. An amazing game. Even if it was past midnight, a well timed kill would have my younger brother screaming.

grin grin I love that halo 2.

Have you tried the new halo multiplayer (halo evolve 4)

Mtn's speed is decent @3mbps (megabits) but a lil too expensive. Even glo is manageable but only at midnight @1mbps(megabits). Running gen etc is extra cost. I usually have to subscribe about 3times a month for mtn@2500naira each.
electrical power is not cheap anywhere, I pass my neighbour is 400 for 12 hrs.

Am a FIFA guy right from FIFA 11 now I play FIFA 15 .Two problems I face are power and internet. I have a strong UPS.that lasts me long enough to start my generator and change over in case of power failure but still I face the music.sometimes. Imagine running up and down to solve your power problems whilst your opponent ia sitting comfortably in his bedroom in America. You are half beaten already.
I use a modem which I have connected via a LAN cable to my PS3. I have secured the fastest and most stable 3G network in my area. This still ends up being so unstable and unreliable. Sometimes I feel so bad being a Nigerian.
So difficult to compete in this global village..
this got me laughing. grin I've experienced the same thing when gaming online. So frustrating

damn expensive sad well i love games alot... i've been shouting and cursing on Sterling for nt scoring frm 6 yards when i was a goal down on my master league lol. I kinda regret selling my ps3.. Relegated myself to ps2.. But when i achieve some level of financial freedom, would definitely have a room exclusive for gaming. #cheers

That no.4 reminds me of an episode in The Simpsons. Homer was taught a boxing game in an arcade after Bart had been beating him flawlessly every time. Homer was about getting his first win before Marge plugged off the TV cable cos she wanted to tell Homer something about Lisa but Homer wasn't listening. After that, Bart announced his retirement, Homers reaction summed it all

My friend's wife asked him whether he gets any work done at all at the office or if he's busy dreaming of his PS4. Because as soon as he comes home from work, he's on the couch playing video games.

Nerd (adjective: nerdy) is a descriptive term, often used pejoratively, indicating that a person is overly intellectual, obsessive, or socially impaired. (source: wikipedia)

I will choose intellectual dominance over social acceptance anyday, anytime.

Typical stereotypical Nigerian. Do you think that I and any other sensible adult spend the whole day playing videogames. We play in our free time.

The same free time that people like you use to

-watch nollywood
-read linda ikeji
-argue on nairaland

etc grin grin grin

dont mind the dude, i do play pro-evolution soccer with ma friends dad, who was a lawyer back then, he is now late (rip to him) am never gonna stop gaming during ma spare time. and am gonna personally teach ma kids how to game, thou responsibly.

no..no..no...no... A guy dat sees clubbing as booring is either GAY ( even GAYS do club) or a NERD!..
Lemme give u a defination of NERD: a sexually matured person that plays games all weekdays, watches FLASH instead of GOT, hu probably plays GTA 5 everyday like its a real life game, whu thinks becoming a super manger in FIFA makes him able to handle a FOOTBALL CLUB and finally thinks DAVIDO and WIZ KID are just fund-raisers for polio eradication projects grin...example...: YOU

Honestly the third is a major set back.

There is nothing as good as online gaming. I remember playing PES in UK (27pounds/month unlimited on Virgin), i tell u its MIND BLOWING. U meet new gamers at different levels, u learn new tricks and make new friends.

Naija, online gaming is almost in non existence

As for NEPA taking light my suggestion is you get a cheap UPS (4k) and attach you console to it. As soon as light goes, u can turn off your console normally and this will never affect your console in anyway.

NEPA has blown up my UPS before. They just brought light and it started smoking.....funny enough, it also blew a stabilizer!

Yeah, it's thru that games on consoles are expensive compared to pcs where you can just download or buy cheap games. I got ma 360 for 30k (fairly used) and buy games for 4k each (I have about 8. ). I mostly play multiplayer using mtn 4.5gig for 2500naira. Of course its not enuf, u might end up subscribing 2ice in a month. But the speed is good enuf for online gaming.
I heard about spectranet...de have a 10pm-8am plan of 50GB for 6500 abuja(5k in lagos)....its pretty affordable...and d timing is ryt...nyt...when it will be daytime in europe or sum oda far away players

Understand that many of us gamers are responsible adults. We play games after our work is over. We have jobs too not only that, we are responsible, matured intellectually being with great credible ambition. So being a nerd,or a game lover doesn't make us visionless, lazy or nfa(no future ambition beings ).so pls ur mentality!!!

We are not your 13 year old nieces and nephews.
Thank you jarey, you have briefly give them the succint answer, that being a 24years old game lover or nerd like me does not connotes that I am stupid or lazy.
