@mompurity I'd say stick to ur TVS results cause that one shows u ur follicles and if it confirmed a distint follicle and the person doing it confirmed O in 24hrs den pls BD already. OPK are confusing dats y evry1 prefare TVS although it's more expensive it shows accurate results as oppose lines of opk. Predict opk always gave me faint positive, had to make my DH take one and it was faint positive dats hw I dumped d whole predict opk. So stick with d tvs results.

@allureia, what? I think you should rather be defensive than abusive.

If you don't know who honiepie is why is it painful to you when she related you with her cos you did not ask who the person was.

MOVING ON...
LESSON 2
HOW DO I GET PREGNANT?
Good Question.
it's obvious by now that you can only get pregnant if you are ovulating.
LH surge, EWCM, Pain around ovary etc are all indicators but the ultimate confirmation is TEMPING. I would advise the use of LH strips WHY?? because in all scenarios it worked to my own knowledge that is what was used. To get pregnant the most important thing is to time ovulation but in that process, relax, enjoy yourself, go and see a movie at a cinema, dance to naija jams maybe don jazzy's productions lol or do what gets you excited. it's called stress relief. that way your hormones try to balance up so due process continues! Observe your body that is important.

HOW DO I TIME OVULATION?
will start with women that have irregular periods because that is one of the major palava in conception making it difficult to time conception. From my personal observation iregular periods are caused by hormone imbalance. what could trigger that could be drug side effects, hereditary, poor exercising or stress etc. i also observed that irregular period is you period occurring when it likes. but the special effect i observed is that the egg production cycle is not disrupted by irregular periods. you wont see this online GBAM!
PLS EXPLAIN... YES!
if you are having iregular periods now pls remember that there was a time your period was regular! Maybe every 28, 30 or 32 days. that is what you work with. ignore the confusing flow. Meaning your egg production cycle is every 28, 30 or 32 days regardless of when your period shows up. sometimes people with irregular period have their period coincide with their ovulation. strange abi? BUT VERY CORRECT. This way you can set what i call "Ovulation Trap" for it. once you observe you ovulated, count another 28 days(if your cycle was formerly 28 days when it was regular) and realise you will ovulate again regardless of when your period comes. that way you know when to count your CD1 - CD 28. Please i'm refering to those with irregular periods.

REGULAR PERIODS
If you have regular periods it's easier. it's easier to time ovulation this way.if you know the number of days in your cycle is 28 for example.. Subtract 16 from that number. Eg 28-16 =12. Why am i subtrating 16 days? because that is the maximum number of days for a woman's luteal phase known. meaning you start to time your ovulation trap from day 13 to day 18. why day 13 - 18?? because your timing should not be close to the minimum luteal phase limit. Lets assume you ovulate on day 19 of a 28 day regular cycle. the number of days for your luteal phase is 28 -19 =9. A 9 day luteal phase could be easily considered a luteal phase defect. Pls remember a luteal phase defect is caused by a fewer number of days needed for a fertilized egg to implant in the uterus. so if you know when your period occurs, first of all count out your luteal phase days minimum which should be about 9. meaning you can bed until day 18 or 19. i also learnt that the luteal phase of any woman remains the same throughout all her entire cycles. it could range between 10 - 16.
There are situations where people with regular periods ovulate on CD 7,8,9 10,11 or any other day. so its better to know your OVulation day and set that trap. You dont need a gynecologist to tell you this. all the information is online. Afterall i be engr. na situation carry me come know all this since my wife go prefer to read linda ikeji, dance "collabo" read oda blogs or watch TV than to sidon read all this.

@allureia, please bikonu. Don't get offended so many women have been duped all in the name of ttc on this thread, so someone need to be careful, it's a faceless forum. This has been a wonderful family, though we disagree to agree sometimes and we forge ahead in love. If you want to be of help to ttc women, there is no need hurling abusive words rather encourage us because we all know where and how the shoes pinches. SHALOM!

Defend what or who? WTF did you read my post earlier? i'm only giving back knowledge here. i expect questions and i'll answer so others will learn not people posting what i dont understand. i said it b4 every aboki to their kaftan. when you have good intentions to help some people will always have something to say. That is Life which i understand. if you look at the previous pages of this thread a newbie will not grab nothing reading through the pages. if anyone feels i'm giving wrong info here i expect RAW proofs not people forming an offensive to derail my work here for reasons they can only explain.

If its intact when using the loo, its ok. but if it falls out, you use a fresh one. Urinating does not disturb it also.

@alleurie. sorry to say this. but ur post is mostly filled with lenghty info which anyone that is actively ttcing knows.
apart from the need to chart temp and test with ur 2 wonder opks -clearblue and wondofs, there is nothing so new, engaging or enlightening about ur yrs of research on natural conception.
if there are still more that we dont know and need to know, pray tell (in fewer words for better understanding)
thanks.
@all my dear mamas, do have a beautiful night rest.

Also known as ZOBO Hibiscus is UNSAFE to take during pregnancy. There is some evidence that hibiscus might start menstruation, and this could cause a miscarriage. Not enough is known about the safety of taking hibiscus during breast-feeding. Stay on the safe side, and avoid use.

I bold the part that really stood out to me.  Uhhh WOW.  How did I not know this before?!  Hibiscus is very commonly found in teas and I drink herbal teas ALL. THE. TIME.  I have always thought of it as a safe, warming, non-caffeinated alternative to water. So I went to the tea boxes at my desk: raspberry tea - the 1st listed ingredient is hibiscus flower; my favourite apple cinnamon tea – the 4th ingredient is also hibiscus flowers.

HERE IS MY THOUGHT.
One good thing is for ladies with PCOS n irregular periods this drink I think comes in handy instead of inducing AF u can take this for it to come on its own, from d effects of this Drink! Voila Learning never ends

U can also google for more info

iomoge, If blood PT says bfn, u can go ahead and use the Guifei Bao since it is used in treating all manner of women issues. I think it is safer than the hsg for now cos I am not too sure of the itch and discharge. Hope it makes a little sense.
@legendsmother, I have been thinking of a natural way to bring forth af, I think Zobo should be OK because AF was last seen in March. Thanks for the info.

@iOmoge: Due to the bfn even at cd45, I suggest you treat the itching and discharge first. On a second thought, have you tried a bpt at cd45? and a tvs also inorder to rule out pregnancy.
