They also asked Buhari to give priority attention to the special economic programmes for the North East geopolitical zone which had been ravaged by the Boko Haram terrorists, just as they warned against the scrapping of the on-going amnesty programme for ex-militants in the Niger Delta region.

They also called on the Federal Government ‘’to expedite action on the compensation of victims of Boko Haram terrorism and insurgency through the established and funded Victims’ Support Fund,’’ and for urgent priority attention to the special economic programme for the North East by the incoming administration, just as they condemned ‘’the carnage, devastations and displacements, which the Boko Haram group inflicted upon many innocent Nigerians in the north east region.’’
Just can't stop picking holes at the useless comminque and laughing so hard. They are calling for special fund, special economic programme, victims support fund, reconstruction, compensation etc etc. Did I not say it?. Infact they should relocate the CBN to the north east. Nonsense!

This is just sickening. What about the victims of the biafran war? have they been compensated? what about the non-existent 3RRR's proposed by gowon after the civil war? have they been implemented? Biafrans fought for a genuine course like the ND militants which is totally different from boko haram terrorists. If there should be anything like 'victims support fund' or 'special economic programme', or 'priority attention', it should begin with 1967 civil war because there are victims of that war that are still alive.

How on earth did God join me in same country with these animals people??

Like someone rightly said "Joke of the century" Amnesty on what grounds? WTF are dey fighting for? Dey will not even accept self. All they want is an islamic caliphate where sharia rules not amnesty.

An amnesty could be given to those who willingly surrender. I am sure there are many of them like that. Many were coerced into fighting and others misled. While you have those who are just tired of fighting. These are the ones that will benefit from the amnesty. It will encourage defections and abandonment and assist in their rehabilitation.

For the diehards, its either their caliphate or 72 virgins

Were these not the same group of northern elders who ran to US to report GEJ administration on genocide in killing boko haram members? That report was one of the reasons our army could not get military equipment from USA which later compounded & frustrated their efforts at combating boko haram. We are yet to see more coming from these bunch of morons.

This story underscores the fact the the North, knows EVERYTHING about bokoharam and its objective was to gain central power.

Some APC supporters will always attack anyone who blame the north for the evil of bokoharam. But we know the truth. Blame GEJ all you like, we all know the truth even those who deny it.
