Doing business is different from playing in the stock market...............For someone to be able to have access to funds like that,it means you are in one business for more than a decade..........I just start to have different view of the market and when it comes to stocks that I am sure about they aren't more than 5.......I know some of those expensive stocks might worth it but I just don't know much about them........Doing business in Nigeria is not easy and sometimes I pity my brothers in charge of my business....The environment can make you look like a liar when you are actually saying the truth but with patience business in Nigeria does pay out in the long run.........But if we can have 24hours electricity, there many kinds of business you can do especially small scale manufacturing.........For now you will have to put your money anywhere you can get a decent return...........

U never can tell. Stock MKT has no formula.
Before I entered stock market (pre - melt down) , I read in one of the stock newspapers (we really had newspapers like that ) that it is better to sell a day or 2 b4 close of register as price are bound to reverse after mark down. The reason being that after mark down, there will be too Much supply and price will go down.

This is not always d case these days. There are some stocks that the price will not reverse after mark down. I think the best way to know this stocks is to consider 2years or more trend. There are some stocks DT will continue to defy all permutation and logic. These are ones controlled by some big boys and we know them. They determine when the price should fall and when it shld go high.

I trade also opened our eyes. The arket makers most times, have d final say on the price a stock should trade, hello mama mercy, what is londoncool? and what is the names of the big boys stock controlled by them?

If you have fresh 15Million Naira to inject into your portfolio, what stock in the manufacturing sector do you think can deliver at least 12-15% monthly?.........

12-15% monthly? I don't know if there has been any stock that has averaged that amount of yield in a year for 2 years consecutively.

I will suggest if you need it to earn above 10% yield a year to put it in an index fund. There are several to pick from based on your risk apetite and you can virtually go to bed.

The stock market is not the place where you should expect steady gains month on month over a long time. It is a place of volatility, risk and lots of adrenaline to go with it! Yes there are stocks that can be on a gaining streak for months but it will definitely not continue perpetually.

The big question is how do we identify stocks about to go on a strong rally ahead of time. Market sentiments is one key. The more investors display positive sentiments towards a stock, the easier it is for it to sustain a bull.

Whatever stock you intend to buy, do your homework, hope for the best and protect your investment against bad losses.

Good Evening my BNSITL, please i need your advise and suggestion concerning shares my friend bought in UNION BANK through his elder brother five years ago with the sum of N103,000.00 only. A year later he was told the sum of N 10,000 was paid as dividend which the brother use to buy more shares. He was told the shares was bought on the floor so there was no certificate. Please how true is this because my friend is an illiterate. He really want me to help him out but i am a novice in this field. Please what will be the market value of it now. Thanks

Agbacha oso, aguo mile. whether monkey hunting or not, when Oando get to #50 and above on or before one year, which is very possible and I can see it happening, one will be counting on little above 15% every month when divided. In other way round, 15% is achievable in NSEM every month when considering one year division.

First and foremost for your health benefit don't play the market with an amount you can't afford to lose.

Betterstill invest 90% of that fund in property and reserve 10% for this certified gambling business.

If you know your way that 10% can give you a whooping1000% in the nearest future while on the other hand the property will be laying the slow and steady golden eggs for you.

Abeg dont let the SPiRiT of Stock Market blindfold. Many have gone.

lol............That for your health benefit part is funny...........Dont worry I will never trade on speculative stocks..........I have been burned from the previous market crash and I believe the reason was because I was investing and not trading..........I started investing in the market since 2004 and i have gained and made some losses especially in 2009/2010 banking crisis.........I didn't care much but I started trading from Nov.2014 and I figure a lot out......I have few stock to invest in and they outperformed all my fixed income securities portfolio till now...........I asked that question if I could get elaborate information on widening my stock selection perspective but that does not mean I have taken a decision...........That capital will stay aside and when the stock market crashed again to the lowest,I can always bring in money to buy my preferred and guarantee stocks..........Greed/Impatience can make you loose but expanding your capital will give you more yield............Lets see the reflection of Pa Buhari government policy on the market.........Real estate is not as easy as you think.........May God show us all the ultimate way to financial success........

Amen oooo at the the quote above.
99% of ppl that sell land are dubious. No friendship in the business. Building is also not easy. The omonile wahala and the rest. You may also get tenants that are troublesome.

Last week, I went to a location I have property and what I saw there was not funny. Opposite our area, all d fence and properties were demolished. I found out that each property there has been sold to at least 3 ppl. The man i saw with the wife doing foundation opposite mine is no longer the owner of the property. Court cases will enter. Jazz things.

Asaba is even the worst. They will sell ur property to another person even if u have a gated fence and a security house with no tenant living. A day b4 they bring a prospective buyer to the place, they will break ur key and put their own. Once they arrive, they will use their key and open the padlock making the buyer believe its theirs . chikena.

No place like NSE. Just know when to cut your losses .

Last week, my surveyor told me that they are plotting land for hostel at igbariam.
Who doesnt want to own student hostel , at least in the future?
The price was also right.
But cos of my previous experience in that business.. No brother in land business. I started doing my search. And guess what? I heard all d land in that axis are govt properties. Imagine what would have happened if I put my money down.

Buying from estates is another thing. They will sell affordable price but will leave out other hidden fees that are much more , sometimes even twice the price you bought. Yearly service charge is another thing. Some you won't see the land you are paying for and after a year or so, they give you land that is not level and the cost of developing it is twice that of level ground.

But no matter how it is, we must make money. When you start, u gain experience and use it to mitigate future losses.

No place like NSE, no place like NSEmpa.
