Why must u leave ur brain behind before commenting on NL?? Osun not on the list of highest and lowest paid states means that it received more than Enugu, so it's an average recipient!

WHAT DOES kANO CONTRIBUTE TO DESERVE SUCH AMOUNT? AT LEAST WITH THE OIL PRODUCING STATES I UNDERSTAND BUT WITH KANO, IT JUST DOESNT MAKE SENSE.
Maybe it's a bribe so that the emir of Kano will not further expose the financial misappropriations of the PDP government. If not, why is Lagos getting far less than Kano?

Why must you insult Yorubas in this case?
Can you please answer the question? What has Bayelsa Governor been doing with all the huge allocations? No light, no good water, no jobs, no farms All of you are either thugs or militants or ex militants. Shame on you suffering in the midst of plenty because of your laziness and corrupt culture you brought to the presidency. A slave will forever be a slave. No matter how much you dress a pig, it must go back to mud. You are back to where you rightly belong. Nigeria made a mistake and it has been corrected appropriately. Just say bye bye to political relevance in Naija for ever. You ingrates. Mtcheeeeeeew

Hope you are aware that Ogun, Osun, Oyo, Ondo and Ekiti states are all owing salaries in spite of ND oil money. Imagine what would become of SW if SS join Biafra and cut off these oil monies. Be very careful! Lagos would have been there if not for taxes and duties paid to it by non yorubas.

[quote author=GrAnDwEeZ post=34069205] I seem not 2 get some point. If this moneys are from the excess crude acct. Why can't some of it be used for the payment of subsidy. And during yaradua and obj's era. How did dey manage 2 cope with d subsidy ish.[/quote

OBJ was increasing fuel price twice or more yearly ....to reduce payment for subsidy..hence we hardly have fuel and we hardly buy at govt pricesl either you are too young or you have forgotten.....GEJ tenure he ensured prompt payment so citizens won't suffer...but since you prefer suffering, he has stopped paying hence you are reaping the reward....]. your Messiah want to tow line of OBJ..so expect subsidy removal...

i've been watching with keen interest the way some gullible Nigerians insult this woman.
I begin to ponder and ask myself "what was her crime".

With all the propagandas flying during the electioneering process, never was any accusation of financial embezzlement or recklessness levied against her.

Even the eagle-eyed media and social media crew never had any corrupt case against her except the state of the economy which in reality has many players and influencers that are more powerful than NOI.

I laugh when I see under-aged dullards who didn't even pass Economics in WASSC turn economic experts to insult this woman on Nairaland.

Go get a feel of how the institutions of the Nigerian state are run and are funded..............
All Revenue accruals are kept to shared amongst the 3 different tiers of government along parameters set down by RMFAC.........
Both PGEJ and NOI, put up spirited resistance to the clamour by the 36 state governors for the sharing of the accruals saved in the ECA.......after blackmail in the press and a suit instituted at their behest.....the FG agreed to the sharing of what had been saved in that pool.....
NOI, then proposed recourse to another saving alternative..... The Sovereign Wealth Fund.....which met another set of backlash from the 36 state governors with another law suit........but the FG stuck to its guns.....and that is all that we have as savings........
A little mastery of the goings on around would do us all a lot.....

For the record, my mum just don't know how to spell Economics, she teaches economics. what about yours Mr too know?
I've been seeing allocations published on daily newspapers for years now.... They're also posted on their sites. Let's be conscious to get the available info we need.
