I don't need to go to those lent to prove my point, Fran merida was once a classic player with do youth team, same as bojan, I'm not arguing with u on whoz better and who is not,I'm only telling you to state the fact where it needs. Be stated, for success would definately be rated ahead nacho, same as. Simon moses not until nacho gets to that stage where he shows the world that he ready to take them by storm
lol.....he's gotten to that stage already. You just refuse to acknowledge it. Maybe after he wins MVP at U20, you'll finally see it.

Or when he makes City first team and Isaac is still playing 'top flight' with quarter-to-relegation teams
Re: Flying Eagles of Nigeria Thread: U-20 World Cup (New Zealand 2015) by Leon2036(m): 1:48am On May 28, 2015
Get ur facts straight nah udinese has exceeded Their foreign quota is why he was loaned to another club also owned by Sam owners of udinese, or u didn't know same people owned udinese, Granada and Watford??
safarigirl:
Iheanacho was scoring goals andd making assists at pre-season before eentering the EDS. He was playing against 'top flight' opponents. The call for a first team shirt started long before EDS.

It was his pre-season form that prompted the 'special talent' case, not EDS. In fact his EDS exploits only began after he returned from injury in stunning form. Before that, he was making Toure look washed up and is still making Dzeko look like shiiit

That Isaac went to an average club and got loaned out to a shitty club (cuz he didn't give the average club a reason to keep him) which makes him look like Messi does not make him better than KC in a top club who is about to achieve what Pogba dreams of

which top class, experienced defenders abeg? Is it nit Team B Success played with? Is every team in La Liga top class? Surely there must be other shitty teams like Granada. How many goals did Success score against those shitty teams?

You're talking as if Iheanacho hasn't played top teams. He played Liverpool and Atletico in pre-season and shone in the midst of the likes of Yaya Toure. Every City fan thinks that kid is better than Dzeko, yet y'all want to rate Success ahead of him. Who is Success abeg?

Why do we like making excuses and living on past glory? Dude, play Kelechi against Barcelona in a Granada team and he'll leave the slowpokes behind and single-handedly give Ramos and Pique the Boateng treatment.

The boy is dogged. Nobody can stop him. He has a confidence and poise that belies his age. Success lacks that confidence.

I am still waiting for clips of Success as at 2014 till now. Na so we go dey here dey make excuses for the bros

Confidence in football is fragile, It only takes one goal drought.

Playing non competitive preseason games with nothing at stake is not the same as competitive games.

Currently, all Iheanacho has is potential... Saviola, Merida, Bojan, Lupoli, francis jeffers, etc all had exceptional potential but never really hit the peak. We all hope, he gets to his prime.

Here is a very short clip on success against Sevilla, he was exceptional in that game... That is a top la liga side

Success spell at granada will help him develop, many clubs loan young players to struggling clubs to help them grow.

When Nacho gets to the top stage, we can compare.

I disagree unless you have the stats to prove it. Stats like completed dribbles and passing accuracy. Any other thing is make up. What matters is that the committee set up picked him as the best player. That shows he was the best.

I wish we could dig up stats.

Bros bojan was in class of his own, during his time, buh what happened later on? Ever heard of sergio araujo the young man tipped to be the next aguero 2day where is he? Oko Stanley was the most rated in the u17 class of 2009 buh between him and onazi who didn't even get upto two games whoz career is better of now? She is just sentimental that's all I still can't find the reason why she dislikes the young man though

What of Messi, Neymar, Suarez, Aguero, Di Maria, Kaka, Pogba, Maradona, Anelka, Benzema, Nasri, Silva, Mata, Ozil, Alaba, Gotze, Muller, Forlan, Ronaldinho, Iniesta, Xavi, Pique, Tevez, Vidal, Sanchez, CR7, Ronaldo De Lima and many more that were kid stars and became world class super stars.

That is when there is no standout player in overall play. In the last world cup, Toni Kroos was by far the best player overall but he had no goals. If Toni Kroos scored two goals in the finals, he would have picked the golden ball easily.

When standout players like Kroos do not score, they move to man of the match, goals and assist.

You gat to be kidding. Nacho's preseason clip against Kansas beats this hands down.

When Nacho scored, the commentator said the standout player of the team finally scored.

He also said if Nacho is a trainee player, Pellegrini should not leave the field without Iheanacho's signature.

can't watch either. First video is blank and second vid.....can't even see a play button.

Will try again tomorrow morning.

Just watched this clip....even though it's really a compilation. Nothing there suggests he's better than KC. Most of his goals are from capitalising on the goalie's mistake, scramble balls. Nothing waoh! Nothing at all.

Iheanavho's Man Utd U21 dribble alone will rubbish this entire clip. Won't even mention games against Kansa City.

KC is technically far ahead of Success....what am I saying? Awoniyi's first goal against Congo at the AYC sef will rubbish this entire clip, even Bulbwa's winning goal at the finale is eons better.

I guess these are special cuz it's top flight.

I do not get the logic of the question. We are talking of kid superstars tipped to achieve greatness. Nacho would have played for the Super Eagles if not his contract issues with City.

Nacho had a good opportunity this season but his injury hindered his chance for City to get his work permit and signed Bony to cover the injured strikers.

Man City is excited with Nacho. Including the senior players. They do not see him as a future superstar. They see him as the next Messi.

A player like Neymar played the South American U20 tournament and was by far ahead of his peers including Lucas Moura. The head coach pulled them from the U20 squad and brought them to the National team. That is why Oscar went and won the best player of the team.

Some hypes fail to live up to expectations but many make it.

If there was a highlight clip of his performance against Valencia it would have been better. Granada was so awful, the team looked useless. As soon as Success came on, Granada came to life. When he scored, the commentator said Success deserved that goal because of his individual contribution to the team. That clip does not show how good Success is.

I don't know him enough to dislike him. I dislike that he's being hyped on past glory. I mean,.the way y'all were going on about him, I expected far more than wjt I just watched.

Moses Simon is probably better than Success, but since his hype is based on most recent performance, I have no issues. A great player in a useless team will be noticed. Andy Carrol was noticed in Newcastle, why isn't the awesome Success being noticed? Moses camee on and transformed Gent to Champions too.

Until I have a reason to rate him, I won't

But seriously, as tempting as it is to get into this Success-Kelechi argument, I will not do it simply because it makes no sense to me in the long run. I dont want a situation where I will be watching the Flying Eagles and would not want Success to play well just so that it will prove I'm right that he is not as quality a player or a situation where another Flying Eagles player wins the MVP and I will not be completely happy because my prediction for Kelechi to be the stand-out player did not come to pass.

I love them all. I wish them well. Their success is a Nigerian success. That should be the spirit, folks.

Fellow supporters, I think it is high time we put an end to this debate (Kelechi vs Success). Imagine both of them or their team mates following this thread or what do you think they do with the Iphones they display on the pics? This debate will only create disunity in the team, after all what we are after is for them to win the tournament and to do so they need team work which is the hallmark of their games from Dubai 2013 till date. Abeg una make we no use our hands do ourselves oo, it will be disastrous if the disunity that destroyed our SE 94’ and U-17 09’ teams surface in our darling Super Flying Eagles camp oo (God forbid). Thanks for your understanding.

According to plaudits, Isaac Success is rated ahead kC.. It doesnt remove the fact that KC may have more potentials... But the rule is simple... between two players of equal age the one playing for any main team in the league is rated above the other in the researves...

What I dont know though is if Manu Garba will like Simon Moses very much. Manu is not a fan of players hugging the ball. Manu prefers opponents be beaten by simple passing whereas Moses likes to beat players himself by committing them with his dummy movements and skipping past them. The dude is never afraid of a dribble. He is an excellent winger!

that would mean even players in shitty leagues like the NPL and the Chinese league are rated above the U23's of top teams like Madrid and Barca. The reality though is that a Madrid Academy team would most likely whoop a team from the Chinese league and make rubbish of such a rule.

There is no basis for comparison on who is better... Let Iheanacho and Awoniyi receive their baptism of fire first... I have seen success games, I know how well, he can play.

Dribbling under 20 is different from dribbling seasoned pros.

It does not add up. There are many crap players playing top flight football. Does that automatically make them better than wonderful talents in reserves of top teams.

Rafa Alcantara was in the reserve of Barcelona. At that time, you will say Celta Vigo players playing top flight footy are better than him. Rafa Went to Celta Vigo and became one of their star and best players. Please, how does playing top flight means a player is better.

The Super Six Tourney shows this. The players in the home league play top flight football in the country. The Super Flying Eagles, most players are from academies taught the Top Flight players how to tap ball.

Playing top flight does not automatically means better.
