@ pazienza,

I understand fully well what is happening but honestly, I will attribute it to the way Nigeria was formed.

If we leave together, our constitution would try to correct a lot of things.

With the rule of law being our guiding principle, I don't think we will have much to worry about.

The very core of a nation would be enshrined in our constitution:
Absolute resource control
Equality in the national assembly
Freedom of movement
Right to vote and be voted for
Citizenship of regions by birth

These are obtainable in every sane nation.

We don't need no one to rally around us, everyone should carry themselves.

Ndiigbo have no double mindedness over the Kind of Nigeria we want or our desire for independent existence if such kind of Nigeria cannot be realized, as we now know.

For an Ikwerre guy, you exhibit a degree of Igbophobia that can only be exhibited by people from lands west of Ikalands.

You better watch it. Don't blow your cover, know how to walk the fine lines without being overtly conspicuous.

Im trying to paint the picture as it is.

Beacause the Igbos, collectively, haven't laid to rest the ghost of the biafran struggle after over 30yrs, many view as insincere the aspirations of any Igbo to become Nigerias president.

Igbos should give other Nigerians a reason to trust them..and if they must choose Biafra over Nigeria, its best they go it alone and leave uninterested minorities out of it..Simple

I dnt know what u meant by blowing my cover...Im a full blooded Ikwerre guy, if ure interested in coming to PH to confront me, u are most welcome.

How many times would we say we force no one to join us?
Stop using that line, it makes you look stupid!

A referendum is all we call for.
Whomever wants to join is free to join us Igbos. We are open to that. We have always been clear on that.

Now stop talking trash!

The Non-igbos can continue tostay in Nigeria where dey are not dominated. I no do again!
You would not beleive it...I have this "friend"although very much older than I am,from the SS,he supports the Igbos in anything and everything but as much as he hates what is going on in Nigeria,he said no sane SS man would want to be caught in the same nation with the Igbos-in his words,if you give an Igboman...1..he would eventually take 2,3,4,5 and finally try to take everything...

Honestly, nobody is forcing anything on anybody, dey can remain in Nigeria, just let us out. We will build a massive seaport in Abia and River Port in Onitsha.

Honestly, if u look closely at the map of Africa, u will find two countries in the middle of no where on South Africa. They are Swaziland and Lesotho. They are not complaining or begging to join South Africa. They are happy with their own country.

Ndiigbo dont need south south, we need peace. Every other thing falls into place wen u have peace. The enmity is too much, the evil eye is too much. They leave people that are enjoying their oil and attack us. Igbos have never harm their neighbours rather it is them that was kidnapping and selling us to the whites during slavery.

We want an igbo only country.
My man,I feel for you with these words of yours...may your igbo nation come to fruition...amen,if that is what you want...

The Oyo Empire ran into trouble wen the yoruba men where defeated by the women's army fon of dahomey. Igbos have always been segmental rather than hierarchical. We have too many small autonomous groups that have never been unified till this day.

Hierarcical society usually have an Empire outlook. Like the Fulani Emir system all over the North. The Kingdom of Benin is an example of Hierarcical society that will attempt to dominate the whole southsouth and impose one rule under the Oba of Benin.
One thing I detest about your people is the"blatant lies"they are known for...just google it...the fon amazons were very good but they they could not stand the firepower of the considerate Warriors-Yorubas via the Great Egbas...the fon were defeated four times-you did not even fear to mention Oyo Empire...that your mouth...ehn.

GEJ only repeated Ironsi mistakes. Tried too hard to please people that would never like or appreciate you or your people. He is currently trying to play a Zik, a one Nigeria sympathizer, he obviously has no knowledge of the history of his people and his region. He was a beneficiary of a ND struggle for equity and resource control, but he ultimately betrayed that struggle, not just by his actions, but mainly by his inactions, what a tragedy.

Yes, the North will not tolerate Ohanaeze suggestions to save Nigeria, Fiscal policy, resource control and the rest. By their resistance to peaceful change, they will play into the hands of secessionists.

Great insight as usual. I was amused at the Northern elite version of hard ball especially during the last conference and again during the JegaJega elections. They seem to have learnt nothing and forgotten nothing. They keep handing secessionists like me our much needed ammunition.

Timid?Lolzz..coming from?

With good measure, the Igbos have created the mess they find themselves..History never forgets. The 1967 coup showed the country what the Igbos had in mind but for Nigeria and the eastern minorities.

Pazienza knows that present day Igbos need to come together and decide either to be in Nigeria or create biafra.Double mindedness is bad..It shows lack of seriousness and unity of purpose...If they are for Nigeria make a bold statement and if they are for Biafra, go it alone and forget about the minorities who arent interested.
but d person who led d coup is not from Eastern Nigeria, but an Ika man from d Midwest/present day delta state...

Well, I think it's the other way round. Nigerians need to give Ndiigbo a reason to ever trust them and their one Nigerian Project.

No group has shown more interest and invested more in the Nigerian project than Ndiigbo. We have been in the business of investing in all parts of Nigeria, something other Nigerian groups don't do. And we have been on the forefront of justice equity and fairness for all Nigerian groups, including offering solutions to the Nigerian nation hood project, like Ohanaeze Ndiigbo did in that article I quoted. No other Nigerian group has offered such a well detailed solutions to the Nigerian conundrum.

And no other group has consistently called for separation from Nigeria but Ndiigbo.

Isnt that quite ironical, or rather, i call it double minded and unserious?..either way, igbos should make a decision and keep to it, because 'a double minded man is unstable in all his ways'

You are the one that is too blind to see the point I am passing across.

Ndiigbo can't have a Zoological Nigeria. It's either a workable Nigeria or no Nigeria.

That the rest of the country are quite happy with the Zoological Nigeria, does not make them patriots.

GEJ was and remains a better presidential material than Buhari.

Tomorrow, GEJ will hand over the baton to Buhari peacefully, giving the Zoo a chance of survival, would Buhari have done the same if the positions are reversed?

GEJ gave up his selfish ambitions to allow Nigeria's nascent democracy to thrive, Buhari was part of a gang that killed Nigeria's nascent democracy in early 80's.

You can't be comparing sleep and death, the odour from the dead is a give away.

Of course, GEJ is not the best man to lead Nigeria, but between him and Buhari, only a blind man can't see the difference.

You mean Nigeria power generation output just increased because of Buhari?
Well, power outage issues is still same here in Enugu. Perhaps, the Buhari effect took place only in your area.

Before the 1967 coup, Nigeria ran a system where each region were in control of its resources to a reasonable extent. The Igbo young gunz killed the parliamentary system and Ironsi, yet anoda Igbo, created this unified Federal system.

Now, the system which the Igbos unwittingly foisted on Nigeria is what, after 30yrs, has taken us to the roundtable to discuss, with no clear headway.

You see exactly what that rash action has brought to the people of old eastern region...That is why u shouldn't be too fast.

The igbos should atleast try to remedy the situation and not to chicken out of the federation because they is being bullied by their mates.

And oh, just like Ohanaeze is offering the Zoo an escape route, just like Ojukwu did with Aburi accord.

How exactly was GEJ government an Igbo government?

The VP, Senate president, house of rep speaker, Attorney General of the federation, were non Igbos, even GEJ is non Igbo.

GEJ didn't do anything for us(Ndiigbo) that he didn't do for the rest of the country, the only difference is that the little he did, we appreciated, cos he was the first Nigerian president after the war that carried Ndiigbo along in all aspects of governance, he didn't treat us with preference, he merely showed us equity, apparently Nigerians are used to Igbophobia, so much that any attempt to bring equity to Ndiigbo like GEJ did is frowned upon.

The very idea of GEJ government being pro Igbo is but another false propaganda that has no merit and fades away when subjected under the fire of truth.
