There's a huge difference between U17 and U20 level.Moreover, South american and European teams peak at U20 level.Maybe a 2 goal gap at best(3-1, 4-2).
news on the streets say Brazil U20 is the shittiest in over a decade....funny that Nigeria's U20 is the best in about a decade as well....

And apparently, someone(a Brazilian) thinks star player Perreira was shiiit during training, well, Iheanacho is anything but....

Make e no do you like filmtrick as e take do Ochoa for U17 and that Senegalese goalie for AYC finals when e happen grin

If it is Coach Keshi, you guys will burn him alive. You will say Coach Keshi should drop the Super Eagles and use Coach Manu's boys. Now you are saying Coach Siasia has his philosophy.

Vanzekin was never World Class. I do not remember him making any brilliant save. Look at Messi's two penalties in 2005. His keeping was terrible. Look at the Olympics when Di Maria was through one on one, it was comical.

Please, it is a case of better than Philosophy. Dropping Mata for Fabregas will not cause problem. Matic for Mikel etc. Dropping Ajiboye for Emeka Okafor. Ridiculous from Siasia. Is Goal Keeper philosophy too?
bro remember pirlo penalty against hart and then hart was d best gk in d EPL so penalty can't b used to judge keepers lol bro in a 1 on 1 situation no matter hw gud a keeper is he is at d mercy of a gud player and yeah dropping a keeper 4 a keeper deals with philosophy on mou dropped casillas 4 d present a.c Milan keeper(4gotten his name) he said casillas doesn't cum out to catch corner kicks in d air #gat to crash nw

meant Switzerland, Bkatter's people.

If you need to be told that Stanley Okoro was at least 25 then I have no words for you......only Sani Emmanuel can somewhat be vouched for in that team.

And as for these boys making it? No need to talk too much. Man City, Porto, Udinese, Gent, Tottenham.....and it's just the beginning. Wait until after the tournament. Who snagged up Obuh's boys?

You still do not get it. Ajiboye conceded only one goal and save three penalties in the final. That Emeka Okafor can never do thart. So how did Coach Siasia pick Okafor ahead of Ajiboye.

Casillas suffered an injury and lost form. That was why he was dropped. But that is class vs class. This was Ajiboye - Class vs Okafor - Thrash.

Coach Siasia he knows where he finds them. My friend calls Vanzekin Open Nnyash Keeper. Messi will fake leg, Vanzekin will open Nnyash.

Those two penalties in 2005 by Messi was funny.

The funniest part of this tournament is that it gotta be a 'SHOCKER'
most of dis foreign soccer pundits are rootin for d South Americans(BRAZ N ARGEN) n Europes(GER N PORT) to carry d day. One thing I know is that Africa(NIGERIA in particular) will suprise dem when the tournament kickstart in proper. All dis their over hyped players will be under d shadow of our players-the Super flying eagles. Make dem start sef make we watch soccer in its raw. I know se dis guys go entertain us.
those white faced pigs will hide their faces in shame, they ve forgotten so soon how this same team in 2013 (then under 17)with the exception of just a few players humiliated their top european and south american teams, though lightening does not strike twice but this time it will. we will wallop them again. talents abound in naija. the land is green

I honestly do not see a whitewash.South american teams always have something special to offer and even if this is their shittiest team in over a decade, i think they will still come good.

That's why they are soccer pundits.Once again U20 is way more difficult than the U17 level. There is a good reason why Africa has won the U17 WC a record 6 times(Nigeria winning 4) and the U20 just once compared to South america's 11 times. This current flying eagles team possess exceptional talents but do not get too over-confident.

How do u know his confidence went low?

Thesame thing that has happened to falcao and di maria, They are good players but their confidence level is low probably due to inconsistent display and playin in a new league. Granada changed coaches like 3 times this year and the latest one used him sparily. But i believe he'll overcome it.

By the way the tournament has started and am opening it 4 nairaland

guys watch this highlights of our under 20 final 2005 against argentina. note how slim mikel was then, also note how little (messi) lapuga atomica was too. this brought back sweet memories, check out our old players that made us proud then, players like solomon abwo, chinedu obasi ogbuke, adeleye, the late olubayo, john owoeri, onyekachi apam, the great taiye taiwo, isaac promise, gift atulewa, sani kaita and the midfield lubricator himself john mikel obi. ohhh the time is now for this present flying eagles to go a step beyond the 2005 set to clinch that coveted trophy for us for the 1st time. history beckons. talents abound in naija. the land is green

watin na... Whats up with all this politics issue.... Nigerians like politicizing anything.... Abeg even if it was sedan hussein or Osama bin Laden a good team win tournaments...

Please.. All these politics talk is tiring
football consist of politics. Even fifa is currently experiencing political crises.

Minister of sports, board members are appointed via political mechnism. NFF president is elected politically. Revenue in football is generated and allocated politically.
So what is there to "politicize" again, since football fundamently adopts political strateges in executing it's policies?
