My brother the truth be told Ebonyi is a backward state.
Way back 2005, Ebonyi was far more better than Akwa Ibom State.
Thanks to Akpabio, Akwa Ibom now ranked top 10 must visit states in Nigeria
It takes passion to get the job done. Come what may Abia as at now can be compared with Akwa Ibom ?

I.k-town: A town in Akwa Ibom, not a capital city o!
Abakiliki: A major town(Capital Town'city') in Ebonyi state now compare and contrast

why you dey yab Agbor na!
Agbor try when you consider the deliberate neglect by the Ibru, Ibori and Uduaghan administrations, none of them from Anioma.

You reason through your anus, how can you compare Ebonyi state to Awka Ibom, Awka Ibom monthly allocation surpassed Ebonyi four years alloction from FG, it will be right to campare Ebonyi state with Osun,Ekiti and some northern states that where you will know Ebonyi is not backward for what media made us to believe.

u r right sir...
u see the grandpa ..M.elechi built more roads in d rural n nealy none that I know of in d capital.. secondly contacts r executed by indigenous contractors with shovel n wheel Barrow thereby making d quality of roads questionable as u can see a newly constructed road going bad at d starting point even before d road is concluded.

so u can rightly conclude that.. contractor = 0, quality control = 0, supervision =0.

Those road medians must be cemented or trees planted. They shouldn't just leave then open and unsightly.

The dust issue should be tackled by aggressively planting trees and grasses.

The roads median should be covered with concrete and a small area opened to plant tree as in the picture.

bro, tree planting on major roads is ebonyi's strong hold. They're really tackling the dust problem head on. I was really happy with how far the city has gone
Re: Welcome To Abakaliki, The Capital Of Ebonyi by SpaceTour: 2:19pm On Jun 07, 2015
@liberty300, please change the subject to something like the 'Ebonyi the salt of nation' so it can take care of the whole state and not just the state capital. Good effort.

op..it's obvious you have no shame. Either that or you're too ignorant and unexposed to know what an urban environment should look like. I won't bother asking you where pedestrians are supposed to walk along your 'lovely', open gutter infested roads, because I'm sure that, like the dumb imbecil.iles who built them, you've not given that a moment's thought.

Yes, i know that. You know i actually lived and did my secondary school in Abakaliki.
So these pictures are a powerful emotional reunion for me.

Please don't get discouraged about the vultures that will come here to derail the thread. Those that won't post images of their state but, will come to bad mouth other peoples.
Let us build this thread slow and steadily like the Imo,Enugu and Anambra thread.

We shall get Spyder to furnish his Ebonyi trips pictures here.

Well done Sir!
