The Constitution never empowered any political party to interfere with the process of selecting the leaders of both Houses of our National Assembly.

Our Constitution does not recognize any selection/election or decision by any political party with respect to the election of the leaders of the National Assembly but that the leaders must be elected by the members of the National Assembly themselves.

At this point that APC’s decision is inconsistent with that of our Constitution and Section 1(3) of our Constitution says that ’if any other law is inconsistent with the provisions of this Constitution, this Constitution shall prevail ,and that other law shall to the extent of the inconsistency be void.

With the powers derived from the 1999 constitution of the FRN, I do hereby proclaim the unconstitutional decision of the APC leadership in respect to the issue in question VOID.

All these conspiracy theories..
Who doesn't know tinubu owns the nation.
They are his media mouth piece.
He can cry us a lagoon for all we care..
It's just sad he may not be able to recoup all he spend to put buhari where he is now
All is fair in the game of politics..
You win some, you lose some.
Sadly tinubu got the bad side of politics..
He should congratulate saraki already after all when GEJ conceeded defeat, they said it was no heroic feat.
If it is as easy as they think then they should also do it as well.

Anyway sipping tea with a grin on my face.

it's too late to remedy, but the analysis is a good one. Certainly there was a conspiracy in all that played out, the same conspiracy that made GEJ loose out is still playing on and shall continue for long. APC was in a haste to grab power at the center and that has happen but it is dangerous b/c the party has not build trust among the players in the party and this lack of trust will likely kill the party.

The book of change chapter 9 vs last And there rose a man from the sons of APC named Saraki, whose mother was PDP. He was a fearless man who fought his mother and went to live with his father APC. He rose before his brothers and fought to be crowned the minister in the altar of change but was challenged by the deadly king maker named Tinubu. And it came to pass that on this day the 9th of June, in the days of king Buha, the lion of Daura who was crowned by Tinubu the king maker, that Saraki opened a book in the gospel of change and gave the popular quote of King Buha which says "I belong to everyone and I belong to nobody" a significant meaning. In all stubborness and revolt against his father's house APC, Saraki fought under the anointing from his mother's family PDP, who never stopped loving him and was able to prove to the king maker that the kings quote is real and effective. He defeated the cruel king maker and was handed the holy books of change that he may minister daily from the alter unto everyone in the kingdom
NOTE: This is a joke

News about the so-called coup by Saraki and PDP are now becoming irritating. i think its now time to move on instead of crying over split milk. Are they expecting Saraki to resign or what? It's politics smiley

Very interesting read. This is a critical analysis by an experienced political analyst.
I believe Saraki should be punished severely for his betrayal - but not now. The party should bide its time well.

I hv said it several times that Tinubu would hv been confined to dustbin of political history if he was frm SE. After Chris Uba dealt wit him in Ekiti elections, Andy uba and Ekweremadu finished him in NASS election, not forgeting d significant success of ifeanyi uba machinery in Lagos election. Nw wia is d sophistication? Worshiping one man and enslaving urself to d north jst to get wateva is beta dan wat igbos got is wat u call sophistication

The achievements of Buhari/Idiagbon regime though mainly attributed and credited to Buhari, was due to Idiagbon's efforts. Buhari is naturally slow to act or react.

Get ready for an intresting 4 years

So who would have fought corruption? A stooge from an outrageously corrupt Tinubu?? The House has chosen a lesser evil, ACN should deal with it

Bro I am full blooded kwaran who should be supporting bukola, but I am not... I know all Nigerian politicians are thieves but saraki is a big evil not a lesser, saraki is arrogant, selfish and one that doesn't even want and care about the masses, a friend of mine who happen to be kwaran gave me a news of bukola sying his son would be governor in kwara and guess what he would be cos they have the machinery... It is better for a stooge to be dia rather than saraki... I understand the fact that tinubus won too much but the fact is that nothing can ever come out of a person like bukola mark my words...

There was no gang-up against the SW. How can that be when the PDP supported the SW to the seat of Deputy Speaker even when pro-Tinubu group were against it?

In 2011 the PdP presented Mulikat from Oyo as Speaker but the APC went for Tambawal from the NW. Didn't they betray their sister for the sake of BAT? Now they also betrayed Yusuf from Osun state but God was with him.

Tinubu is not SW "personified", he's from SW. His interest isn't synonymous with SW interests. APC was beaten to their own game by the PDP, they should live with it.

The nation should stop this propaganda
don't mind the useless newspaper... If buhari wanted tinubu to have his way why didn't he communicate through the clerk of the house to stall the inauguration. Tinubu is just a loser here. And more horrible fate awaits him.
