Best tradition ever,

If u can put someone's daughter in ur house , impregnate her, and put her thru labour without paying her dowry then u are obviously looking for trouble.

The family are quiet nice, he wud ave been asked to share a room with the corpse for a night then he wud appreciate the importance of legally marrying a woman.

So in essence it was just practically a punishment disguised as tradition?

This country will never move forward if people are still practicing these superstitious nonsense.
So someone would agree to perform marriage rites on a dead person just because of some damn belief?
What foolishness.

People need to throw away all this useless cultural practices because it will lead us nowhere.

That tradition is overboard.

While in Anambra State, a friend of mine who hails from Akwa Ibom had the same challenge. After having a child for him and before the set date of his traditional wedding, his wife-to-be died. He had to perform all the traditional marriage rites afterward.

According to him, he said after due consultation about the remote cause of her death, they alleged that his wife-to-be was fired with nails. I have never heard that before undecided. He said after being fired these nails which I feel is spiritual, it is forbidden for the individual in question to receive injections. His wife had received injections in the hospital after she had come down with an unknown illness.

Really weird world.
I used to hear bout that nail and discard as rumour not until a very close pal told me how nails were spiritually removed from his body and he counted saw the nails physically. He was almost dead not until the nails were removed. We both went to his home town in Amichi and he pointed the uncle who specialises in hitting his targets on code. We stayed a week and he made sure the uncle never knew he came home.

Have seen a lot of stuffs in this my existence---things that science is yet to have answers to.

You've got to be strong spiritually, mentally and physically as long as you are a Nigerian. Evil and wickedness pervades this country.

It was also epic getting to know and see the length babes can go to capture a guy. All of una wey like women strangers my deepest condolences. Most things I keep to my stomach cos they seem unbelievable except to serve as a lesson. Nka nbe.

I think your judgement is definitely clouded. What has money got to do with the topic here? Yourself you don't like money abi? If you are a father to a lady, which would you prefer- Have a man cohabit your daughter without proper rites or get married married to her as proper?

. Igbos value life that is why every child have to accounted for and taken care of, that is to say that every child must be born in a home and not a house. Unlike yoruba and hausa that born like native dogs with single mothers and fatherless children everywhere.

I feel you Bro and sometimes I wish I had the green light to mess around and take advantage of beauties that trust and confides in you. Nothing freaks me in toto cos I used to be a machine and explored all there's in a feminine body with consequences. I'm older now and see sex a whole lot differently------A gateway to the metaphysical with the right one and hell with the wrong one. Play safe.

Warning to all of those who are busy impregnating girls up and down without thinking of doing the rightful.

To all the baby papas in the house.

Do the right thing at the right time before you are forced to do the right thing at the wrong time

Ask all the single mothers and all the touts all over yorubaland why it is not babaric to marry a woman before giving birth.
